I’m feeling much better.

The doctor thinks I can

check out of the hospital tomorrow and go home.

That’s great news!

I know the last few days have been very tough for you.

Has anyone else come to visit?

You won’t believe it.

One of my friends arrived right after my surgery,

another came by the next day with magazines and fruit

and still another showed up

and spent the whole afternoon cheering me up.

Wow!

No wonder you’re feeling better.

You know the Bible says that,

“Laughter is the best medicine!”

You are right!

It also says that we should

“encourage one another and build each other up”.

I feel like all the encouragement

I’ve received from my friends

has really helped me recover faster!
