and her name is Abby Cadabby.
And she's a fairy goddaughter.

MOTHER GOOSE: Now, why don't we try to make Abby feel at home,
and sing the "Welcome Song?"
STUDENT: Oh, good idea, teach.

MOTHER GOOSE: Now, let's meet some of your other classmates.

MOTHER GOOSE: This is Jack, and this is Jill.
JACK AND JILL: We're the ones who climbed the hill.
MOTHER GOOSE: Jack used to fall down a lot.
Good thing that he's got Jill.

MOTHER GOOSE: This is Peter Piper.
PETER: I'm the pickle pepper picker
who proudly prefers to pronounce "P" words.
BABY BEAR: Say that three times, but quicker.

who have come to greet you.

Because we're about to start Show and Tell.

we bring in something from home, and show it to everybody here,
and then tell them about it.

Thus, the name "Show" and "Tell."

MOTHER GOOSE: Now, who would like to go first today?
MARY: I would.

MOTHER GOOSE: Very well, Mary.
Now stand up, and show us what you've brought for Show
and Tell.
MARY: My Little Lamb.
LITTLE LAMB: [BLEATS]
JILL: But your lamb follows you to school all the time.
LITTLE LAMB: [BLEATS]
MARY: Well, yes.
But this time, I want to show you a new trick
that Little Lamb has learned.
LITTLE LAMB: [BLEATS]
MARY: He can sound like other animals.
LITTLE LAMB: [BLEATS]
CLASS: Oh-- wow--
BABY BEAR: Animal impressions.
Intriguing.
MARY: Take it away, Little Lamb.
LITTLE LAMB: [BLEATS] Moo.

BABY BEAR: I'm pretty sure--
PETER: I'm pretty positive that was a pig.
LITTLE LAMB: [BLEATS]
MARY: Yep.
That's what it was.
How about one more, Little Lamb?
LITTLE LAMB: [CLUCKS]
[CLASSROOM CHATTER]
BABY BEAR: Yes.
Uh-huh.
ABBY: Well, what noise is that, Baby Bear?
BABY BEAR: Well, if I'm not mistaken,
that would be a chicken.
MARY: Exactly!
Take a bow, Little Lamb.
LITTLE LAMB: [BLEATS]
MARY: He'll be appearing all week at the Comedy Barn.
[CLASSROOM CHATTER]
MOTHER GOOSE: Yay.

It always makes the children laugh
and play to see a lamb in school.
ABBY: Wow.
That was so great.
BABY BEAR: Mm-hm.

If only I had brought something interesting that I could show.
BABY BEAR: Well, Abby, maybe the answer
is right at your finger tips?
ABBY: Yeah.

BABY BEAR: Yeah.
ABBY: I'm going to use it to go ask Elmo for help.

[MOTHER GOOSE SIGHS]

ABBY: Well, I didn't bring anything for Show

to show them something interesting.

Guess what?
I can do Show and Tell now.
I have the perfect thing.
ELMO: Abby's wand?
