and you wanted to play a game, so we're gonna play a game.

- Yeah, so, okay.

I'm going to just treat this as if it's

like my Youtube channel, okay? - Okay.

- Are you ready? - Yep.

- So, where's the camera?

Where can I say--

Hi, everybody!

My name is Tyler Oakley and I'm here

with the one and only Ellen DeGeneres!

(audience applause)

- Okay.

So, the game is very simple.

You have a minute on the clock,

I'm gonna ask you as many questions

as I can, and you have to see how many

questions you can answer in one minute.

- Okay. - Are you ready?

- I am. - Okay.

Weirdest word in the English language.

- Saskatchewan.

- What is love?

- Everything.

- What would you take on a one-way trip to Mars?

- Portia.

(audience awws)

- When were you the most nervous?

- Doing Johnny Carson for the first time.

- Name three people who make you laugh.

- Portia, my brother, and Steve Carell.

- Favorite holiday?

- Christmas.

- If you could have one superpower, what would it be?

- To be invisible.

- Do you have any tattoos?

- No. - No?

Okay, last person you texted.

- Portia.

- Favorite thing in this room.

(buzzer)

- Aw, we'll never know.

(audience laughs)

- You did a lot of questions! - Yeah.

- That was impressive.

- I had all the answers, I knew them.

And my favorite thing in this room is all of you.

(audience cheers)

- So that happened!

Can we just talk about this life that I have

that I somehow fell into that I get

to have that you guys created for me?

I feel like this is a journey that we are going on

together and I couldn't be more thankful.

Thank you to The Ellen Show for having me on.

So I got an e-mail a couple weeks ago

that was like, "Hey, do you want to come on the show?"

and I was like, "Hey, this is the thing

"I've been dreaming of all my life!"

So I was like, "Yes, can we make it happen? Yes, please?"

So, I got to go and we arrived,

I walked into the building, I turned the corner

and as I was walking down the legendary hallway

of all the pictures of her most iconic moments

on the show with the most iconic guests,

I'm walking, and then a door opens,

and then out walks Ellen, and I'm like,

"Hi? You are my everything."

I didn't say you are my everything,

but I'm thinking that you are my everything.

But I'm like, "Hi, I'm Tyler!"

And she's like, "Hi, I know, I'm Ellen."

And we hug, and then she's like,

"Thank you so much for coming on the show,"

and I'm like, "Thank you for having me,"

and then we're just a duo walking

down the hallway together as one

does with Ellen DeGeneres, casual.

It was one of those moment where I'm like,

this isn't happening, but it was happening.

And then I get in my dressing room,

and my mom shows up because I flew my mom out for it.

My mom has to be there, she has to be in the audience

'cause this is a moment and you know how I'm a mama's boy

so I was like, my mom has to be there.

So my mom arrives, and we're hugging, and I'm like, okay.

I'm about to go on and they take me back stage, and then

I go on and I think I shimmied a little bit.

Ellen had Gaga playing, which was my request.

Thank God she did it, thank Gaga.

I was like, this is just, nothing could

be better and then they played Gaga.

And then I did a little shimmy,

and then we did a little interview,

and then we played a game which you just saw,

and then in the commercial break she was like,

"Thank you so much for coming, you are the coolest,"

and I was like, "You can't call me

"the coolest, you're the coolest."

It was just one of those things,

and people say never meet your idols

but I will say, false, go meet them,

because they sometimes will be incredible.

Ellen was gracious and kind and present

and fun and funny and, just...

It was a dream and I feel I could gush about it

for eight more years, I will spare you.

I will remember this day all my life.

Mom, my mom's here.

Mom, come say hi.

Did you like it, did you like the show?

- I loved it! - Okay, good.

Okay, you can leave now. - Okay.

I loved it!

- Wait, come back!

What happened after the show?

What happened, you know, after I left the stage?

- Ellen hugged me?

- Ellen ran up and hugged my mom.

- Well, actually, she hugged me before you came out.

- Oh, she did?

- Yes. - No, I didn't know that!

- Yes, she hugged me before you came,

she came up and told me what a wonderful person

you were and that I should be very proud of you.

- Ellen is just the best!

Okay, go away. - Okay.

- I need to finish this video 'cause

this is going to be eight years long.

And then after the show we were leaving

and we were walking to the car and then, honk!

And then we looked behind us and she's like, "Excuse me!"

It was Ellen telling us to get out of the way

and she's like, "Thanks for coming on the show!"

and I was like, oh my god, Queen.

I just wanted to say thank you

for making my life the life that it is,

whether you've been here for eight years,

whether you've just gotten here today because of Ellen!

Hi, you're new, what's up?

I don't know, welcome.

But whether you've been here since

the beginning or since today, thank you.

Not many people get the opportunities

that I have, not many people have the privileges

that I have, and not a day goes by,

not a second goes by, that I don't appreciate it

and acknowledge it and hope that I use it

to the best of my abilities so thank you for being there.

I don't know what else to say.

I feel like, you know what, I need to celebrate,

I need to go get some fast food.

It has been a day, it has been a day.

Today is the day that we filmed,

so I am coming off the stage, walking into my apartment

and I'm like, let's film a video, 'cause this is like,

I get to do cool stuff, but even cooler is coming

and talking to you guys about it.

So, I gotta go.

Mom, let's go get drinks.
