The group got started twelve years ago by the brothers

Adam and Chris Rupp. Started out just a hobby, and luckily it snowballed into a career.

They picked up Rob Lundquist about five years ago.

I'm Tim Foust, I've been doing it for about 4 years. And Matthew Austin

Brown here is brand new, only about a year with the group.

Sure, in some ways there's very little pressure

in that no one's really done this yet so we can't go wrong, uh...

but on the other side of things, there's the pressure to really make a splash and

do it right, you know, represent. - Well, country a cappella is,

like Tim said, it's brand new. Nobody's ever done it before but it's...

it's really just about...it's about textures and it's about bringing a certain energy,

that country vibe, that country soul. You know, Tim and I were both born in the south, so

we kinda grew up in that energy, so

it's really just about being ourselves and single a little country music. - We do, we uh...we write quite a bit.

It'll be all covers on the show, of course, but uh...you know if you follow us

after the show you'll definitely hear some...

some originals. I do most the writing. These two guys write a lot as well.
