It's a very, very elite group as such
with very high standards.
The accreditation is the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business
and is the top five percent of business schools worldwide.
We had to me twenty standards
in order to qualify for AACSB.
These standards are really marks of quality schools.
If you look at any of the top schools -
Harvard, Columbia, Yale -
all those business schools have the exact same accreditation
that we now have with AACSB.
We've had faculty members routinely publishing
at the twenty percentile where the acceptance rate
is only 20 percent only ten percent of the top journals in the nation.
And that's unusual - you don't see schools typically our size
being able to publish in these journals.
We're scoring in the eighty-fifth percentile or higher
so our students are competitive with any students across the nation.
We will be having visiting teams come every five years
to re-evaluate our program and
see if we are still meeting the standards.
And it's a continuous improvement program also.
So we gather data, we make corrections
and then we check to see that we're improving.
