Subtitles section Play video Print subtitles To have three sold out nights at Terminal 5 That’s like a thing, that’s like real Even saying that sounds crazy First time we came to New York We played at Studio Webster Hall And I wanted it to sell out so bad And there was maybe 100 people in there This has grown over the last 6 years We really would go out to anywhere that would book us Even to a coffee shop or a hole in a wall Or whatever And if 20 or 30 people came That was a great night We would crash on friends’ floors We travelled with a rice cooker We would literally set up shop At whoever’s house we were crashing at Make a whole pot of rice Everybody had a tupperware with their name on it We’d go to Wendy’s and get chicken nuggets To put in the rice to have some sauce or something We were really barebones-ing it It’s not like I came out as somebody’s artist I’m not Wayne’s artist or Drake’s best friend It’s grown from the soil From the dirt To step on an arena stage and to see it sold out Back row top row They look like ants New York is really a sell-out or bust If you’re doing something you got to make a statement And you gotta sell it out So to have THREE Sold out nights at T5 That’s pretty cool
