Subtitles section Play video Print subtitles Whats going on guys Carmine-sensei here with my late Q&A video for season 6 episode 5. I apologize for delivering this so late but as I've said before certain things in my personal life must come first and I'm sure you guys understand. Now A lot of shit went down this time and lots of questions are being asked about the latest episode so without making this intro too long lets just get right into it. Do you think Benjen will appear in the next episode? Now a lot of people have been showing me pictures of Joseph Mawle, who plays Benjen Stark, appearing on IMDB's page for episode 6 as "brother beyond the wall". Do I think he'll appear in the next episode? I think there is a very high chance that he may but not because hes showing up on IMDB but because the audience has already been re-introduced to who the character is back during the Winterfell visions with Bran. What I mean by that is...the show is not just going to throw Benjen back in your face without trying to remind the audience who he is considering hes been absent from the show for the past 5 years. That's right, uncle Benjen was last seen talking to Jon Snow in season 1 episode 3 and to give you an idea of how long that was? the character has not been seen on screen since May 1st, 2011. They could've shown us someone completely different that young Ned Stark was training with but they chose to give us young Benjen for a reason and I think that means hes coming back. If they cured Shireen then why can't Jorah be cured? I recall Stannis saying how he had multiple healers from all over the world come to Shireen when she was a baby in an attempt to save her. My assumption here is that Stannis sent the word out to every one he could find and I'm sure he didn't exactly vet the candidates but just had them try anything they could to help her and eventually it worked. It's not said in detail who cured her and how but I assume not even he knows who did it considering it was a race against time to save her so Stannis probably had the healers do their work all at once until it stopped spreading. The one way I assume Jorah can be saved is from going to the Lord of Light priests. I mean...if they can bring back people from the dead then curing greyscale should be a walk in the park but as I said in my review I doubt Jorah will survive long enough to see her sit on the Iron Throne. Will you be covering Sam & Gilly in the next episode? Yes I will and for once I'm not dreading it. I saw that they are finally getting to Sam's family home of Horn Hill and by the looks of the preview we'll be in for a treat. We also get a look at Sam's dad played by James Faulkner who looks really intimidating in his outfit. I'm calling it now though: Sam's dad calls bullshit on Gilly's baby being his...especially considering that he baby has blonde hair and Sam doesn't so I can't wait to see how that turns out. Why does the Night's King want to kill Bran and the Raven so much? Probably because they know way too much and knowledge is power. The Raven did say that he needed to teach Bran everything, maybe that means Bran is learning the weaknesses of the White Walkers, other than obsidian and Valyrian Steel. It could also be that the White Walkers consider anything that isn't them an enemy. It could also be because Bran and the Raven has sided with the Children of the Forrest and the Walkers probably have a lot of hatred towards the children and want to wipe out anybody affiliated with them. My theory here is that the Night's King is probably trying to chase Bran out of the cave, after marking him, and use him to head back through the wall and nullify the spell that keeps them out of Westeros. Originally the wall was built by Bran the Builder with some help from the children of the forrest who put in some spells to keep out magical creatures. Maybe the Night's King wants to use Bran to ensure his invasion and in a way give him the nickname: Bran the Destroyer. This theory of mine is also backed up by Melisandre who, in the books, believes that Bran and his companions are the champions of the White Walkers. He could be, unknowingly, doing the Walkers a favor by escaping back through the wall. So if the mark on his hand allows the White Walkers to get inside the cave then Why not cut off the hand? Probably because the mark has already nullified the spell protecting them all from an all out assault. Chopping off his arm wouldn't do much other than put his life in danger due to all the blood loss. My assumption here is that the mark works like a curse and as long as the person who cast it is still alive then it stays with the victim until one of them dies. I don't understand why they didn't just explain that while it was revealed that he got marked but what ever. Is Bran a time traveler now? There has been multiple discussions on this and I won't even try explaining it because it's so confusing and I don't want to even try because this isn't my area of expertise. I'll leave a link in the description below to an article that may help in understanding what Bran actually did from someone who actually studies time. It's an interesting read so I definitely recommend checking it out There is a theory out there that the Raven is Bran but in the future. Thoughts? Oh my god...I hope that's not true I really hope not. While it would be interesting I'm just getting sick of this whole time loop thing because it really doesn't fit in with a medieval fantasy, I can see it in sci-fi but with Thrones its just a little weird plus this isn't Looper, which is a good movie by the way, but its not. Once you add a time traveling plot to a show it just because a little too insane and confusing because according to the article in the description below Bran didn't change the past but affected it? I have no idea just check out the article. Do you think we'll ever see Dorne again? I fucking hope not. If we do see it again it may be to show them siding with Dany when she comes over to Westeros. I really hope that disaster of a storyline is out until the very last season and I would rather they just mention House Martell in small council meetings from now on. Oh and before I forget there are these people trying to raise money to change the Dorne storyline in the show. They hope to raise 20 million dollars to shoot their own Dornish storyline and somehow get HBO to put that in future DVd box sets? which I think is a lost cause and will likely go absolutely nowhere but you can check them out on kickstarter they're called Fixing Dorne and so far they've raised 32,000 from over 80 people in the hopes that they can actually change every scene and make it fit. I'm not going to tell you guys not to support it and no offense to the people who started it but I've heard way too many horror stories about people supporting projects on kickstarter and then they just get their money taken without ever seeing the original project completed so it's up to you guys Do you really believe Ramsay wrote the pink letter? because some of the signs point to Petyr Baelish writing it. I would love it if Petyr was behind the pink letter just to jump start another war to weaken House Bolton so he can ride in there and take it with ease. Some of the arguments to this effect are the wax seal used in the letter is vastly different than what we've seen House Bolton use before. In season 3 Episode 10 we see Ramsay sending a letter to the Iron Islands and as we can see the wax used for House Bolton's sigil is vastly different than what we see in episode 4's letter. Not only that but some of the language used in the letter is also different than we've heard. Calling his dogs in the letter when he would normally call them hounds and the whole come and see was a little obvious. I think it would be an amazing twist for Petyr to be behind it but as the show continues I find it very difficult for the show runners to include anything cool like that simply because they've failed us in the past. I always site the awesome twist that could've been Dorne last season as an example for this. They could've made Doran, not Ellaria, the true villain last season, having him send the threat to Cersei and make a speech about his hatred of the Lannisters but it was just an opportunity wasted and they didn't do it. Now I hate to cut the video short but I am working on a new video for you guys and another video which is a little collab with a new channel that does amazing artwork so look forward but thank you guys so much for watching and as always leave like if you enjoy, subscribe if you already haven't and I will see you guys in a couple of days for the new episode. Have a good one.
