let's take a listen to the sounds of the grand piano,

on the Casio AP-250.

Just like an acoustic grand piano,

the AP-250 has 88 hammer weighted keys, and they're graded.

From left to right they start out heavier and gradually become lighter

and this would be true with an acoustic grand piano as well.

The Celviano AP-250

is loaded with a lot of useful features. First of all, it has a variety of sounds.

Aside from the acoustic piano sounds,

there are a number of electric pianos, strings, organs, and more.

There's also a built-in metronome to help with your time keeping.

If you'd like to practice in private,

you can connect a pair of stereo headphones to the AP-250.

The speakers will automatically shut off

and you'll hear yourself, but only in your headphones.

This will come in handy for late-night practice.

AP-250 Features all three pedals, just like you'd find on a grand piano

the soft, the sostenuto and the sustain pedal.

Aside from the music rest,

AP-250 also features a hard, sliding key cover

to protect your keys when you're not using your piano.

If you'd like to connect your AP-250 to your home computer,

for use with music production software.

Whether it's for recording notation or lessons,

there's a USB port on the back of the piano.

AP-250 has a built-in song recorder!

You can record yourself playing and listen back.

You can record one hand at a time as well;

Because you can record the left, and you can record the right.
