  • - I'm Lynn Chen,

  • I'm an actor and food blogger,

  • and I wanna see how many sandwiches

  • I can find from around the world

  • without ever leaving LA.

  • Buzzfeed presents: sandwiches from around the world. One city, one day, many sandwiches

  • Chip Butty. United Kingdom.

  • We're at Hot Red Bus where I'm about to eat

  • french fries in a sandwich.

  • This is the chip butty.

  • Mmmm, ketchup, potatoes,

  • tastes like breakfast.

  • Shao bing you tiao, Taiwan. Sesame flatbread, deep- fried cruller.

  • This is a shao bing you tiao.

  • If you don't speak Chinese,

  • it basically means boiled stick sandwich.

  • You're supposed to eat this dunked into hot soy milk,

  • which is what I did when I was growing up,

  • but we don't have time for that.

  • We have to eat every sandwich in the world.

  • We're east of Los Angeles right now in Alhambra

  • at Banh Mi My-Tho,

  • and we're about to eat a banh mi,

  • which is a sandwich from Vietnam.

  • baguette, pickled daikon, pickled carrot, jalapeno, cilantro, mayo.

  • The bread is very crunchy,

  • a little too crunchy,

  • and it's very crisp, sweet, spicy.

  • Bauru, Brazil.

  • This is a bauru, and it's ham and cheese and egg.

  • grilled Italian bread, ham, monterey jack, fried egg,.

  • This actually tastes like a lot of American sandwiches,

  • like a breakfast sandwich that you would get,

  • except it's got fresh tomato,

  • and Americans don't like fresh tomatoes

  • on their breakfast sandwich.

  • I don't know why.

  • Skagen, Sweden.

  • We're at Olson's Scandanavian Delicatessen

  • where I'm about to eat the skagen sandwich,

  • which the owner described to me as

  • the lobster roll of Sweden.

  • Brioche roll, shrimp salad, dill.

  • Mmmm, it's delicious.

  • It's cold, it's creamy, it's very dill filled,

  • and there's fish roe on top,

  • so it sort of pops in your mouth,

  • which is unexpected.

  • Cemita, Mexico.

  • What do you recommend for my first one?

  • Now we're at Cemitas La China Poblana

  • where I'm going to have my first cemita.

  • Fried beef cutlet, oaxacan cheese, avocado, tomato.

  • OK, come to mommy.

  • Here we go.

  • Look at this.

  • Come to me, live with me, love me.

  • Game over.

  • Mexico just won.
