I suffered a near fatal head injury from high school football that left me in a coma for almost six days and after coming out of the coma I really needed something to help me get grounded and find myself to kinda rediscover myself and yoga at that time provided me that physical yet meditative aspects I needed to help me in my life. Yoga has to really come from within. It's a journey that starts from in my opinion your heart and therefore it must resonate from a deep level where it is solely dependent on the person. Everyday there's a certain set of sun salutations that I incorporate in my practice to build heat and a sense of strength and stamina. Yoga actually helps us get in touch with our breath which gives us life and by doing that we become more present to our own being in our bodies so we can be more aware of what's really going on inside us.
