Subtitles section Play video Print subtitles The Situation's latest endorsement, scoop on the Sex and the City tween sequel and FOX confirms the obvious. This is Rachel and it's coming up in today's Reel TV news. The Situation is getting money thrown at him again, though this time, the endorsement deal is less conventional. Abercrombie and Fitch has offered to pay Mike Sorrentino to NOT wear their brand as they don't want him associated with it and feel it will distress their fans. They call it a "Win-Win Situation". You've probably heard some chatter about "The Carrie Diaries" - a project based on Candace Bushnell's book about Carrie's high school years. Today it has emerged that the CW is now the leading contender to adapt this book into a TV series. None other than the Gossip Girl producers are being courted to executive produce the project. Makes total sense to me! Finally, today FOX has confirmed what everyone already knew - J.Lo will be returning to American Idol as a judge next season. The 11th season of Idol will premiere on Sunday, January 22, following the NFC Championship Game. J.Lo's judging partners in crime Randy Jackson and Steven Tyler are also returning and of course, Ryan Seacrest is not going anywhere. That's it for today's Reel TV News; we'll be back tomorrow!
