Subtitles section Play video Print subtitles I don't know if you realize this, but April is national stress awareness month. So, if you been relaxed, it's time to let go of that now. >> [LAUGH] >> Stress is stressful, which is why we try to avoid it. They say it can cause heart disease and high blood pressure. But studies now are showing that stress is actually good for you. [LAUGH] >> So, if you don't have enough stress in your life, you should feel stressed about that. >> [LAUGH] >> And then, get relaxed cuz stress is good for you. Cuz you've been stressed about the fact that you weren't and then, anyway. >> [LAUGH] >> Experts are saying that stress can improve performance and boost brain power, so all the people that I've scared on my show over the years, you're welcome! >> [LAUGH] >> It's good to scare people, right? >> [APPLAUSE] >> And so, listen to this. They say that stress is not bad for us. It's the belief that stress is bad for us that causes problems. Well, you're the ones who told us stress is bad for us in the first place. >> [LAUGH] >> Who ever you are, they tell us things and now they're telling us, so now, it comes down to how we look at things. Remember first of all, if you think this way, stressed spelled backwards is desserts. And who doesn't like desserts, right? >> [APPLAUSE] >> So, the next time you feel stressed you go, desserts. And then, you just kind of, so. You have to be careful though because too much stress isn't good for you. How many people here feel like you have stress in your lives. A lot of people. Hardly anyone did not raise their hands. Or you're too stressed to raise your hand. Because you're like, is she going to call on me. Who raised their hand over in this section here? In the blue, what are you stressed about? Okay, you. >> [LAUGH] >> A lot of people in blue, what are you stressed about your kids? >> My kids and life and making sure their taken care of and yeah, but I mean just everyday normal stress. >> Yeah. Yeah. And like on a scale from one to ten, are you stressed, what would you say? Eight, seven? >> I'd say about a six. >> Six. >> Yeah. >> And who is an eight? Who has a, right there. Both of you, right there in a row. >> [LAUGH] >> What are you stressed about, both of you are an eight? >> I'm just stressed with like school, because we're trying to decide what we want to do in life. >> And your friend next to you is an eight also, what are you stressed about? >> Well, basically, just financials being 1500 miles away from my nearest family members and all of the people that have been my biggest support. Man. >> Okay, come here. If you're that stressed, come here. >> [APPLAUSE] >> Hi! >> [APPLAUSE] >> So, you need to be here. Cuz this is a stress free zone, that's what. What is your name? >> My name's Kayla. >> Kayla, you are about to have the most stress free day you've ever had. Not only are you here, but look what I've created just in honor of April's stress awareness month. >> [LAUGH] [APPLAUSE] >> You go. You go sit over there. Go on. >> [APPLAUSE] >> Everybody's going, I should have said an eight. >> [LAUGH] >> I'd be having wine, sitting over there right now. All right, so if you feel like it, you can take your shoes off. You put your feet in there. >> [LAUGH] >> Yeah, if you take your shoes off, put your feet in right away. There's some wine for you and some little hors d'oeuvre. You'll be able to watch the show if you can't see very well from right there. And Armando, where are you? We want to make this better. There. >> [APPLAUSE] >> Thank you. >> All right. >> Like first of all to say thank you about the make a wish thing, and I think we come from the same DNA. I look at you make your audience members happy every single day and that's what the Make A Wish charity does. >> [APPLAUSE] >> So, I get the luxury of putting a smile on families who don't necessarily smile a lot, and have a lot of tough circumstances. So, I see you do the same thing everyday with your audience, and they're so excited. And we have the same thing. I come in and I see these kids light up and their families light up. And for a day, they just get to forget about the stress. >> Yeah. >> [LAUGH] >> Like Kayla over there. >> Yes, exactly. >> [APPLAUSE] >> Well as John and I were talking about, it's a wonderful thing to help other people. It feels really good. And this was just kind of a fluke. I decided to talk to you in the audience and say who's stressed, and you had this moment that was so beautiful of actually showing how stressed you were. Kayla, dry your feet off and come over here, carry her over. >> [APPLAUSE] [LAUGH] >> Thank you. >> [APPLAUSE] >> Hi. >> [APPLAUSE] >> Hello. >> [APPLAUSE] >> How's it going? >> Better. >> Good, yeah. >> [LAUGH] >> It's a better day, you never know, you wake up and you're stressed and all of a sudden you share your story and your here and things change, right? >> Yeah, and I have to say thank you Britney. She brought me here, she invited me last second, and she's just been one of my best friends since I've been here so. >> Last second, wow that's amazing. >> She just called me last week and way like hey what are you doing, I was like nothing. She was like okay, you want to go Tuesday and I'm like yeah, Tuesday's clear. >> Yeah, wow. Look how that worked out for ya. Well, all right, so a lot of people take selfies but I just feel like they're over rated so I want to sign something for you okay? >> Okay. >> All right, if you don't mind I'm just gonna, where is it? Okay, it's Kayla, right? >> Yeah. >> All right, thanks. So, what I did is I signed this check for $10,000. >> [APPLAUSE] >> No more stress. >> My gosh, thank you. >> No more stress. >> Thank you. >> [APPLAUSE] >> My >> [APPLAUSE] >> Listen, all I ask is that you pay it forward. You just whenever you can help somebody, you remember this moment and when someone shares their story with you, then help them out, okay? All right, I want to thank John Cena, Mike Posner, Ice cube, a special thanks to shutterfly for helping us out with Kayla. I'll see you tomorrow, be kind to one another. Bye.
