Subtitles section Play video Print subtitles Hey I'm Tobin with Section 8. One thing I noticed with a lot of intermediate skiers is they have a hard time getting their skis to grip the snow and often that's because they're either twisting their upper body around or they're leaning too far to the inside of the turn. So one thing I suggest for these skiers is to think of having your your chin over the downhill toe piece on your bindings. What that does is create this "C" shape in in your body, which will increase your edge and help you balance over the outside ski. It should look something like this... So as I come to the end of the turn right here I feel like I'm trying to get my chin over my down heel toe piece ...and what that does is it helps create this "C" shape in my body and then my skis will grip and they'll steer me through the turn. yeah
