But Apple is about something more than that

Apple at the core, its core value

is that we believe that people with passion

can change the world for the better!

Those of you that know me

certainly know that Macintosh has been

the most important thing in my life

what a computer is to me is

it's the most remarkable tool

that we've ever come up with

Apple was a company that was based on innovation

when I left Apple 10 years ago

we were 10 years ahead of anybody else

the problem was, that Apple stood still

This... is iMac

Boom! That's iPod

I happen to have one right here in my pocket my friend

there it is, right there

because this...

is the new iPod Nano

it's a Revolutionary mobile phone

and we call it

the iPad

our goal is to make the best personal computers in the world

and to make products we are proud to sell

and would recommend to family and friends

Apple is like a ship with a hole in the bottom

leaking water

and my job is to get the ship

pointed in the right direction! LOL

now just hours ago

Steve Jobs has resigned

as Chief Executive of Apple the company he built

I'm very happy to be here today with you all

as some of you may know about 5 months ago

I had a liver transplant

so I now have the liver of a

mid 20's... person

who died in a car crash

and was generous enough to donate their organs

and I wouldn't be here without such genrosity

so...

I hope all of us can be as generous and

like to become organ donors

I'd like to take a moment

and thank everybody in the Apple community

for the heart felt support I got

it really meant a lot

we always saw ourselves as trying to build

the best computers we knew how to build for people

that's always what we were trying to do

Steve Jobs the visionary founder and leader of Apple computer

has died at the age of 56

so... This is what we're up to today

and I'm really glad you liked everything... err

but there is one more thing

that I want to talk about...
