  • Boston. In this video we'll be discussing

  • the Paul Revere House in Boston. Keep

  • that will guide you through your visit

  • to this historical site. The Paul Revere

  • house is located on 19 North Square

  • along the Freedom Trail between Faneuil

  • Hall and Old North Church. This historic

  • landmark is one of downtown Boston's oldest

  • building and one of the few remaining

  • 17th century dwellings in the United

  • States. To get to the Paul Revere House take the

  • subway also called the T. Take the Green

  • Line to Haymarket or Government Center

  • stop, or you can take the Blue Line to

  • the Aquarium or Government Center stop or,

  • you can take the Orange Line to

  • Haymarket stop. Once you exit from the T

  • walk toward Boston's North End which is

  • towards the water. Find and follow the

  • Freedom Trail marked by a red brick

  • ground path through the Boston's North

  • End, then follow the signs for the Paul

  • Revere House and the red brick line on the

  • sidewalks. It'll be about a 15-minute

  • walk from Faneuil Hall or Quincy Market.

  • The Paul Revere House is open from

  • April 15th to October 31st

  • from 9:30 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. and during November 1st

  • to April 14 from 9:30 a.m. to 4:15 p.m.

  • Tickets are available at the ticket

  • booth at the entrance. Only cash is

  • accepted.

  • The Paul Revere House was built around

  • 1680. Paul Revere purchased it and moved

  • in with his family in 1770 with his wife

  • Sarah, five children, and his mother Debra.

  • After Revere sold the home in 1800, it

  • changed hands many times until in 1902

  • Paul Revere's his great-grandson, JP Reynolds

  • Jr. purchased the building to

  • preserve it.

  • Once inside the home, staff will tell the

  • story of Revere's ride and present a

  • brief history of his home. Inside the

  • building(s), staff dressed in period

  • costumes provide information into

  • everyday life for the Revere family, and

  • describe that period furnishings and

  • personal artifacts on display

  • No photos are allowed inside the home

  • This attraction can take half an hour

  • or more depending on your interest

  • The house is also within walking

  • distance to other attractions like the

  • Old North Church, the Paul Revere Mall

  • and Little Italy.
