Just signed my deal.
Happy to be in D.C. for another five years for sure.
Working with Drew this summer,
It's probably the best I've had
in terms of being really dedicated and focused on my work.
The biggest thing I want to improve on
is creating a shot for myself off the dribble,
being able to get to the basket,
finishing with contact,
working on different finishes.
All around, pretty much everything.
I think the next big step for me
is definitely being an All-Star.
But, I think in order for that to happen
I need to have a healthy season.
So, this offseason
I've been doing a pretty good job of focusing
on lifting, getting my PT right,
and doing the right things out there on the floor
to be able to make sure I have a full, healthy season.
Everything has been good so far,
I'm confident and ready to go for the season.
You know, individually, for myself,
nobody is harder on themselves than I am.
I always expect me to be great,
and be the best I can be.
I want to be an All-Star this year,
I want to be first team All-Defense.
I want to be All-NBA Team.
I have a bunch of goals in mind that I have set
and I'm going to do everything in my power to reach them.
I think as a team,
the biggest thing for us is
really making sure that we're focused and locked in
coming into training camp.
And we do whatever it takes to
to get to the playoffs.
Because it's not easy,
everybody has one goal at the end of the day,
and we have the team and the assets to do it,
and it's up to me to lead them.
