Through their doings, we have gained some discernment,
seen through their true face of hating the truth and being against the true God,

Yes. They’re the same as the chief priests
who enticed Judas to betray the Lord. (Hmm.)
They don’t accept the true way but hinder others from following the true God.
They’re simply living demons that devour men’s souls.

God helped us gain discernment through the experience.

are deceived by them and follow them to resist God.
Some believers who can accept the truth

how should we hold today’s salvation?
Look back to two thousand years ago.
When Jesus Christ worked in Judea,
the teachers of the law and Pharisees at that time
nailed the incarnated Jesus onto the cross
and so God’s plan of redeeming mankind was accomplished.
After Jesus resurrected and ascended to heaven,
the Holy Spirit descended
and the salvation the Israelites rejected
began to be spread to the Gentile nations.

From the verses we can know:
In the beginning God was called God and He had no name;
the name “Jehovah” came into being
when Moses led the Israelites out of Egypt.
As to “Jehovah” that appeared in Genesis,
it was written by Moses in a later time.
We all know,
Genesis was written after Moses led the Israelites out of Egypt.
At that time he had already known that Jehovah was God’s name.
Therefore, when he wrote Genesis, he wrote the name of Jehovah God into it.
