Subtitles section Play video Print subtitles Hey, Welcome back to Wolfens Gaming Today I am here share... some basic combat technique of Foxhole might be useful for someone who is new to this game I will start from the most basic weapon... and explain some basic tactic related to the weapon. from the very start of the game everyone has a "Pistol" We tested the pistol at the firing range in our earlier stream... It's effective range is about 2/3 of the screen size is deals nearly no damage when your target is out of range. due to the fact that only 2/3 of the screen is your effective range you won't have to put your crosshair to the edge of the screen when using it. And it won't help much either if you do the view range is pretty much the same. to deal an effective damage, your target needs to be within the range of this rock. So, if you garrison a foxhole with your pistol, though it provide some protection from enemy fire and provide steady long range shooting but your pistol still cant do much damage to long range target you can still cause bleeding and slow the enemy if manage to hit. even at long range but it is very ineffective, due to low damage. even with the bleeding effect, enemy suffer only 3 damage, 97 heath is too much to bleed out. You need to get familiar with the attacking tempo of the pistol. its firing cool down is slightly faster then a rifle so its is very important to dance with enemy rifleman when using a pistol. and that's the only advantage this weapon has. it is light, good for fast moving. but it will be as slow as the other weapon when aiming, so... you should not keep aiming when using a pistol, for every shot you fired, you must re position now, lets talk about the rifle. the attack rate of the rifle... a bit longer then a pistol. normally when you're facing an enemy. what you need to do is to take aim... shoot & run shoot & run shoot & run... and, try to run toward 90 degree angle If that rock is the enemy position, you should be moving like this... if wont be very helpful if you run strait toward the enemy and run toward 45 degree or less will greatly increase your chance of getting hit. so... stay as close as a 90 degree movement as you can. and you MUST use shift to sprint, spent your stamina. your evasion will be less effective if not using sprint. especially when your encumbrance is over 50% (white bag) mine encumbrance is below 50 right now, so my mobility is still pretty good atm. by using this mobility advantage, you can evade the return fire from most of the less experienced rifleman. Now, the first thing you do, when taking fire from a rifle... this is between life and death... Rifle is the weapon that most likely to stop its target when hit. you usually will be stuck if you're hit while moving. When you are hit by a rifle, the first thing you do is to hit the dirt. NEVER try to turn and run. its the main instinct of many people... or they will aim and try to find the shooter... it too late to do that... These two reactions means your death is almost guaranteed... You need to hit the dirt ASAP when you are hit by a rifle. Then, you can search for the shooter, and make an evaluation of the situation. if you find the enemy is somewhere by the rock there, and he missed his second shot due to you already get down. you can just press shift and run to 90 degree angle then he will have a great chance to miss his third shot as well. due to he is now readjusting and try to hit a surface target.
