That's what Aaron Judge, the New York Yankees' rookie phenom says in Sports Illustrated... the most recent issue...I just read the cover story...Aaron Judge, an amazing baseball player...I love this guy. I'm a Red Sox fan, not a Yankees fan, but I'm a fan of this Yankees ballplayer. Aaron Judge...282 pounds, six seven, I look up to him. Sure, I would look up to him if I was right next to him. He's tall...but I look up to him for his character...after reading that article...and what I've seen and heard about him...he's amazing. Drafted in the first round in 2013 by the Yankees... in April of this year, he won the American league's Rookie of the Month award...he hit 13 home runs in his first 29 games this year. He's amazing. He's a great ballplayer...but from what I've read and heard, he's a great guy, too. Lots of character. You can't have the good without the bad. That's what he says. That's one of the things he says...and enjoy the...learn to embrace...something like this...the negatives...he has character, he has grit, he has discipline, he has what it takes to be a big success...and the analogy I'm going to make is, yeah, if you strike out in the game of life, you have to get right back up at the plate...into the batter's box and swing for the fence and hit a home run the very next time...you can't worry about striking out every now and then...you can't have the good without the bad...every once in a while, bad things happen. That's life. It's a series of ups and downs. It's a series of strikeouts and homeruns. I've said it before, you've heard it before...if you fall down, get back up...pick yourself back up...get back into the game. Aaron Judge...what a great example, I think, for us to look up to...a great role model, a great ball player...not even a question... Aaron judge for the New York Yankees. Rookie phenom. You can't have the good without the bad. Great lesson for all of us in life...so if you fall down, get back up...if you strike out, get back up to the plate and hit a home run the very next time...no matter what field you're in, what industry, wherever you work, at home, at work, at play. Whatever you are doing, wherever you are, you can't have the good without the bad. Remember that. This is Bob Cargill... wherever you are, whatever you are doing, I hope life is treating you well.
