我們出生時並沒有不同

Who will you be? What will you become?

然而我們並未生而平等

Some people are born to be leaders, effecting great change amongst their people

你會成為什麼人? 你將來會如何?

Others are born into mediocrity, living unremarkable lives

有些人天生就是領導者，言行影響著周遭人們

But for some

有人卻生來平庸, 過著平凡不起眼的日子

Life will be a constant battle offering zero opportunities

但是對某些人而言

So how can nothing... be something?

生命是持續不停但勝算是零的戰爭

School was the only place where Zero received attention

所以...怎樣才能從無到有?

He learnt important life lessons like his value in society

學校是「零」唯一覺得被關照的地方

And that it was forbidden for his denomination to multiply

他學習重要的人生課程，像是他在社會中的價值

Sometimes Zero was made to feel like a much larger number

還有格外清楚因為他的身價是絕不能與人交往 （譯註：0×0是無意義數）

But the children only wanted to remind him that a zero is a zero no matter which way you face

有時「零」被拱的好像是個更大數字的樣子

As Zero grew into an adult, he walked a lonely path

但孩子們只是要提醒他，不管從何處看「零」還是「零」

Despite his numerical shortcomings, Zero felt he had something to offer

形單影隻地，「零」漸漸長大成人

Zero never allowed bad situations to get him down...

儘管他數字上的缺陷，「零」認為他總會有用的

He didn't want to be a negative number

「零」從不向惡劣的狀況屈服...

It wasn't the first time Zero awoke with a battered and bruised body...

他不想從0變成負數

But this time was different

For the first time Zero felt unaware of his lowly number

In the company of his new friend, he felt as important as a three...

Or even a four

But the most wonderful sensation

Was the feeling of belonging

而最美妙的感受

A lifetime of loneliness faded into the past

Along with the notion that their love was forbidden

一生的孤獨就此消逝

As the world continued without him

Zero wondered how he could ever continue without his love?
