Subtitles section Play video Print subtitles - Hi there. Guy from Arturia here. In this series of videos, we're gonna be looking at Keylab Essential, Arturia's range of stream lined MIDI controller keyboards. As this is the first episode, let's have an overview. Keylab Essential is a light weight but rugged MIDI controller keyboard. It's available in both 49 and 61 key versions and comes with a huge bundle of software so you can start making music straight out of the box. Including Ableton Live Lite, UVI Grand Piano Model D, and Analog Lab 2. Keylab Essential puts the focus on work flow, putting the most frequently used functions right at your fingertips. This also keeps the interface from being too overwhelming. It uses its USB connection for both power and MIDI so you'll keep cables to a minium. If you've recently purchased Keylab Essential, you'll want to make sure you're getting the most out of it. Inside the box you'll find easy to follow instructions on how to register Keylab Essential and download all of the included software titles. Let me quickly show you how to get started. First, head to Arturia.com and set up a user account, or log in if you already have one. Once logged in, you'll be in the My Arturia section of the website. In the My Products section, click register a new product. Select your model of Keylab Essential from the drop down menu and enter the serial number and unlock code found on the quick start guide, or on the underside of your Keylab Essential. Once registered, you'll be able to download and install the included software. You'll find useful links and guides for each software product by clicking more info next to Keylab Essential in your My Arturia account. In the next episode, we'll be taking a closer look at the great software that comes with Keylab Essential, with a special focus on Analog Lab 2 and showing you the power of Keylab Essentials integration and performance controls. Bye for now.
