Oscar Animates asks “Hey Blocko, What is the true color of the

sun?

I tried figuring it out myself, but my eyes are starting to hurt!

Oh?

Oscar...please...don't stare into the sun.

As far as the sun's color goes What if I told you that the Sun is actually

/green/!

It's true, at least in part.

Now before you go and start thinking that your eyes have been deceiving you all this

time, the Sun is /also/ yellow.

And blue.

And red.

Basically, the Sun is a bunch of colors mixed together, which, to your human eyes, looks

white.

But that's if you went above the Earth's atmosphere and checked the Sun out from someplace

like the International Space Station.

Down on Earth, it'll appear to have more of a yellowish color because of the atmosphere.

But why does the Sun look white?

According to NASA, it's because the Sun emits light strongly in all of the visible

colors, from red to blue.

So then if the Sun is actually all visible colors, which you just perceive as being white,

why are we saying that it's green?

Well that's because out of all the light that the Sun emits, it is strongest around

the green part of the spectrum.

More specifically, the blue-green part.

So in that way, if you're talking about its strongest light, you can think of the

Sun as a green star, or a blue-green star.

Well first off, when people talk about a person's intelligence quotient, or IQ, they're usually

talking about a score they got on some tests that are thought to measure a person's cognitive

abilities, or “intelligence”, compared to other people in their age group.

There's a few different classification systems for IQ scores, but an IQ between 90 to 110

is typically considered average.

There have been reports as high as the low 200's, but the highest score that you can

usually get is around 160, with anything even near than considered to be pretty genius-level.

It's hard to pinpoint the lowest score ever recorded, though generally a score below 70

is seen as low.

But before you get too worried about IQ scores, many people believe that they don't accurately

represent all parts of your intelligence or mental ability.

And no matter what, an IQ score certainly doesn't solely define you or limit what

you're capable of!

Dear blocko, What is the most embarrassing thing you've done?

Oh wow.

I've done so many embarrassing things.

I think they are all tied for first.

One thing i did last week was I tried to ask Circlia out on a date over the phone, but

i had a nervous breakdown, and collapsed in on myself.

Classic embarrassing moment.

Everything from my world just started caving in.

Luckily my animator has everything backed up, so it was okay!

Although, i don't know if she said yes!
