the Kantai Collection, to be exact. You can't play without an account so that's what I'll be showing you

showing you first here

it depends if I don't ramble. So this first part I'll be showing you how to make and account

and possibly the lottery as well so the first thing I'll show you

again, make an account.

One thing I recommend is to use Google Chrome

Google Chrome is really good for this because the

English translation button you'll see like right beside your

"favourite", Star button. Your Bookmarks button

and that'll help you register when you want to go make an account for the official

game

later on. Another reason why I recommend it because there is an extension that will

help you with gameplay

but we'll get into that when you actually get to get into the game.

The first thing you want to do is to go to the

DMM website, right now you see it's English, but what you'll see

first is that it will be in Japanese, which is that one right there

This one will be red instead of

English. What you want to do then is click the English button

it will then come to the English website.

What you want to do then is, click user registration, click that.

Then, you'll see this page. Put your email over there

and you'll type your password over here. You can check if you want

to get the email magazine, but I opted out because I'm only here for the game, well was there for

the game

and you then click Next you get a confirmation email

go to your email, click the link. Very easy. Once you're done that

go back to website, login

using the login button right there

I have my password saved because I'm using Google Chrome, so

I gonna click login.

Congratulations, you now have a DMM account.

All right, now that you have a DMM account, you'll have

access to the game, but you're not really ready yet.

What you want to do first is start with your proxy

with Google Chrome you press

F12, it'll pop open this console to your right or left depending on where you are

and you'll see all these things, but all your care about is this console button right here.

and if it's minimized down here, you want to expand it to see what you are doing.

I have a code that is written by someone

who understands more networking than I do, but I know how it works

at least. This is one proxy method

so that the game thinks that you're

in a Japanese account, remember you want to be on the Japanese site

The you want to take the code, I'll leave it in the description.

you want to copy it, Ctrl+V

into the console and bam. so what this code does is that

it makes it look like your cookies that you're accepting are coming from

The Japanese website instead of your

North American, European what ever other region that you are

and there you go.

Now that the game think you're Japanese person you can

press F12 again to close it or press the close button

that's in the corner over there. Now the hardest part here

is the lottery.

How the lottery works is you have to check their Twitter account, I have it linked in the description.

Depending on the tweet, it say the date

that it's for or the date that the tweet is posted

is the day that it's for. You see that I have a

tweet here that this is for February 1st.

Some days it'll say, this is the date it'll be on, like 2/1

meaning February 1st or

if maybe 3/15, that's March 15th so

make sure of that. The other number you'll see is

a time

now the time will be in 24-hour clock, military time.

As you see here the tweet says 16:30

that means it is going to be 4:30

PM Japan Standard Time, not our time

or not any of your times, Japan Standard Time. That will be important note

for later on. The best thing to do right now is to go to your clock.

I'm sure you know how to do it, you go to your clock in the status bar wherever it might be

you want to click Date/Time, right there.

And you'll pop up

with this. What you wanna do is you want to change

time-zones, mins is Arizona minus 7, because that's the correct time for me.

Click change time zone, drop-down menu

and you want to select

plus 9 GMT Sapporo

Osaka, Tokyo. Click that, click Okay

and your date and time should be

part of Japan. That'll make it easier for you know what time

it is so that you can navigate to the website at the right time.

I recommend going

I say okay maybe half an hour earlier

Something I actually forgot to mention to make it easier

to enter the lottery is this tip right here that they have

about a seitting your Google

Cache, Disk Cache. What you want to do is if

have your Google Chrome shortcut here. You want to, I made a copy just

for the lottery itself but what you can do is right-click

properties

and then you'll see here it says

that you want to go to the target path right here

at the end of these quotes you want to type in

--disk-cache-size=1073741824

I made a second one just think I need that kind of cache

for later on so that all I did, but

anyways that is just a small tip you can go on

to doing your lottery as it should.

What you want to do half-an-hour early, so I'll be there at 1600

Japan Standard Time

that'll make it easier for you so you can register and everything. It gives it enough time so that

your Internet can not stupid. What you want is,

because I already have an account this button will help you register

for your account as an admiral in the game. Once you press this button

go up to your address bar

you'll see this little button right here near your

bookmarks button, click that and then click

translate that'll help you translate the page into

English so you can register and know what fields your entering in.

next what you want to do is

go through all that registration, except

until you see a button and that button

will look like this its on step 3

but do not click that yellow button, yet. One thing

I would recommend is that you wait one (1)

minute, yes one minute, til one minute before

the actual time for the lottery you want to look at your clock here

as you can see. The see the second hand

going right around and

as it hits the 59 second

as it hits that

you then want to click the yellow button that will then get you into the lottery.

The thing almost forgot to mention, 7,000, that number in that tweet

it says how many slots there are available

so once you click that you'll see

depending on what images you'll see, the first image you could see

is a girl with a cat

and its like, it's like kind of attacking the girl

as you can see. This means that you're in the lottery, you'll see a number

depending of what it is, it'll say 3-5,

5, or 10.

Those numbers tell you I'll what what intervals you should refresh

the page to your gonna be on when you click that yellow button

so in that

you wanna watch clock, every like I said

if says 3 minutes, right? its at almost at its

to 2:59 of that time

then refresh, if it says 5 minutes at 4

59 of the five minutes

until you refresh then you click refresh. 10, similar thing.

except with 9:59 instead

if you are very fortunate enogh you can get

into the game and you will see a loading screen

and it'll show you number of servers. This image I took from the wiki, this image

shows that

their are a bunch of servers up there with a full icon next to it

you want to click on any server that does not have that red

"Full" icon once you have that

you're basically in the game.

Unfortunately, not everyone wins

the lottery so if you see picture of a girl

hiding behind a cat or that all the servers are full

unfortunately, that means that you've missed the lottery and

you have to try again, but do not give up

I know a friend who tried very many times

he was persistent and he got it so follow these tips
