His first album Illmatic was released to the world in April of 1994 with production from

Moving on to fact number four when it comes to being a music artist selling lots of music

is always good and Nas did just that in 1996.

Nas dropped another hip-hop classic called, "It Was Written," featuring Dr. Dre, Lauryn

Hill, and Foxy Brown where the album went Double-Platinum selling over 2 million copies.

With our final fact in the world of hip-hop, beef is something you hear about where a hip-hop

artist battles another artist through song.

Nas would be involved in one of the biggest rap beefs of all time facing Jay-Z.

This back and forth beef in music would produce the greatest diss tracks of all time is Jay-Z

releasing the, "Takeover," and Nas releasing, "Ether."

Later both the Jay-Z and Nas would settle the beef but it is still remembered as a classic

today.
