Hey everyone Arbiter617 here from Black Plasma Studios Back with another episode of our minecraft animation tutorial series using blender
In this episode ill be showing you how to setup the scene well be covering stuff such as some basics on using blender and navigating around the scene
we'll be covering how to optimize your scene
in order to make it run a little smoother on your computer
we'll be seting up the sky and the enviroment textures
finnaly bringing in our first character and setting up his skin
i'll show u how to bring extra items and blocks decorating the scene
and finnaly ill be showing u how to adjust the environment in case u wanna enipulate the scene a little bit without having to go back in Minecraft
and change the whole world
just a few quick things before we get started
first, I have the screen cascades at on turn on
so in the lower left
if I press a key such as N
or middle mouse or A
it show u down here which key I pressing
so if I ever do something and I forget to explain which key I'm pressing
or if some of u forget
just take look down here
secondly, in the last episode, I show u how to setup the default Minecraft scene
so u don't type out the setting every time and we have things like light pack and our dimensions
we have a little setup
some people in the comment mention if u go to file
u can actually hit save startup file and that will allow us to save all the setting as the way blender always open
that we don't need to save this scene file
you don't need to worry about accidently overwrite it
u do if you want
I personally don't plan on doing it
I think it's important to remember some this things and kinda what they r
also, sometime u simply don't wanna be doing Minecraft animation and u don't want have all stuff that r kinda for little more Minecraft stuff
so, my map setup
let's get back to the episode
we'll starting with showing u a little bit of the basic on moving around the scene
how to kinda change the inner face of bit
and what u will be using
if u already know those stuff, u might want skip ahead about episode 2
anyway, let's get going
in last episode, I mention middle mouse button
is what u need to rotate
if u hold middle mouse and shift
u can kinda move around
so u can kinda use this 2 together
to get different angles
however
