Fast Fashion Is Killing Our World
Do you buy new clothes every season?
Do you have to have new shirts or jeans
just because they are more fashionable than your old clothes?
If yes, then you perhaps like fast fashion.
In the world of fast fashion,
new styles come out every week, and the clothes look and feel better each time.
The cotton is softer, the colors are deeper and brighter,
and the styles are cooler than before.
Also, the clothes are not as expensive as those in the past.
Sadly, fast fashion is killing our world.
It is making the air, land, and water dirtier.
On average, everyone in the world buys about 55 kilograms of clothes each year.
Because of that, he or she throws away 33 kilograms of oil,
3,300 kilograms of water, and 55 kilograms of waste.
Fashion may be fast, but fixing this problem is not.
