Yo, I'm Sandor, I'm new. Today we're gonna go on a curry adventure through the world. Are you excited? Okay, yeah. What do you know about curry? There's a lot of Asian cuisines with curries in them. and then there's also Steph Curry. Is that a food? No. I love curry. You do? Yeah. Well, actually my mom, she makes it for me a lot. and I really like it. Ready to watch me try food? I don't know. Are you ready yo eat it? Yes! (plate sliding) Oh, this is not what I would think of when I would think of a curry, actually. Looks like potato. Well, I know you don't like potatoes. So, I'll tell you. There are no potatoes in there. Oh, my mom makes potatoes but I like those potatoes. Blech, gross, gross, gross! Does this have shredded up shrimp in it? Yes. Yikes, I hate shrimp. So, what are you eating now? The rice. That's just plain white rice. You've probably had that before... Mm-hmm. My guess is this curry is from Greece. This is Odisha Shrimp Curry from the east side of India. Oh, it's Indian. Yeah! It tastes so bad. What does it remind you of? Foods that are really bad. Alright. Should we move on? Yes. (plate sliding) Eggplant? Yeah! I hate eggplant. Your mom says you've never eaten eggplant before. I haven't, but I hate it. It is spicy. Oh, it's good, is there Japanese eggplant? This is Burmese Eggplant Curry. Burmese, like from Burma, so Myanmar. Yeah. There is dried shrimp, garlic, ginger, paprika, turmeric, and Japanese eggplants. Pretty good. Say goodbye to your Burmese Eggplant Curry. Bye bye. (bowl sliding) Oo, it looks like my mom's chicken curry. Mm. Yep, got some beef, carrots, potatoes, onions. I'm gonna say it's from Japan. Ding! Ding! Ding! It's Japanese curry with a twist. Well, what's the twist? It was made by your mom. Oh. Kind of good. Ok. Are you starting to like curry a little more? No. (bowl sliding) Nothing looks good except for the noodles. (fork clanging) No, no. Stinky? Spicy. Oh no. What? Is it tofurky? What's up with you and tofurky? I went to Veggie Grill and I had one of those fake burgers. and now everytime I think of it I gag, so I really don't like to associate myself with tofurky. Oh, it's chicken. (laughter) This is khao soi. Like a cow, like moo, and then soy, like soy beans? Nope. Do you know what country it might be from? Starts with a T! Russia, wait no, that doesn't start with a T. Thailand! I was close. I just ate four curries, two of which, uh, three of which I would say, well, two or three of which I would not have said were curries yesterday, so my definitions of food have been broadened. How do you feel about curry? Nope, no, no, no, no. But are you happy that you tried them at least? Yeah? Thanks for watching me try curries from around the world. What's your favorite kind of curry? Let us know in the comments. What should we try next? How 'bout some, okay wait, food from... Let's just not, yeah. See ya.
