Subtitles section Play video Print subtitles Hi, I am Tatiana from Sony and I'm going to show you how to perform a factory reset on your Sony 4K TV. If your TV light turns red and blinks eight times, you will need to perform a reset to return the TV to its factory settings. Begin by unplugging the TV power cord from the electrical outlet. Allow the TV to remain without power for one minute and then plug the power cord back into the electrical outlet. The TV will automatically turn on. Next, we will perform a factory reset. After a picture or display information appears press and hold the up arrow button on the remote control as you point it towards the TV. While holding the up arrow button, tap the power on button on the side of the TV until a reset message is displayed. If the reset is successful, the TV will momentarily display a reset message on the lower left-hand corner of the screen. Release the up arrow button on the remote control and wait for the TV to complete the reset. If the TV did not display a reset and it starts automatically release all buttons and perform a reset again. Once you have completed a reset, you will land at the setup screen. Go through the initial setup and customize your settings. Once complete, press the home button. Go to settings. Locate product support. Locate software update and follow the steps. I hope you have enjoyed this video. For more tips, tricks, and how-to videos, please visit us at esupport.sony.com or on our Sony Support USA YouTube channel. Thank you.
