LOOKING AT THE BEACH, BUT THEY SAY THAT THEY WILL STAY PUT. STATEWIDE, AT LEAST EIGHT COUNTIES IN FLORIDA PUT OUT MANDATORY EVACUATIONS. THIS MORNING OR THIS AFTERNOON. A LOT OF FLORIDIANS ARE USE TO HURRICANES, BUT HURRICANE DORIAN IS ONE OF THE STRONGEST SOUTH FLORIDA HAS POTENTIALLY SEEN IN QUITE A WHILE, AND FOR SOME YOUNG FLORIDIANS, THIS IS REALLY THEIR FIRST BIG HURRICANE. THEY SAY IT IS NERVE-RACKING. >> THIS ONE IS A LITTLE BIT DIFFERENT. I AM KIND OF NERVOUS FOR THIS ONE. IT HASN'T HAPPENED BEFORE SINCE WE HAVE LIVED HERE. DEVASTATING HOMES IN PEOPLE'S LIVES, BUT WILDLIFE IS ALSO IMPACTED. THIS IS A SEA TURTLE. WE HAVE SEEN TRAILS OF THEM ALL ALONG THE BEACH WHERE THEY WERE NOTHING. PEOPLE HAVE POINTED OUT TO US THAT THE NESTING SEASON ENDS MID-NOVEMBER. IMPORTANT TO THE OCEANS ECOSYSTEM, AND A LOT OF THEM ARE ALREADY SEEING THE IMPACT.
