  • Para archery is archery but everybody that we compete against have a physical disability.

  • We have people on our team that have no arms.

  • We have people on our team that have no legs.

  • We have different classifications, it's a bit like you would have different weight limits in something like judo or boxing.

  • So you've got to level the field where people with a certain kind of disability.

  • We're shooting against people with a similar kind of level of function and it's not age restrained.

  • I think archery is the most inclusive sport there is.

  • There are a recurve division and a compound division.

  • Recurve is the more traditional one string, you know similar to the Robin Hood style.

  • Compound shoot at about 50 metres which is about half the size of football pitch and we shoot a 10 ring which is about the size of a digestive biscuit.

  • And then you've got recurve that shoot on 70 metres, which is about 2/3 of a football pitch and they shoot their nine ring is about the size of a CD.

  • And in fact a lot of us can actually compete against able bodied archers.

  • So that's a bit of a quick one there.
