Subtitles section Play video Print subtitles NOW, LIVE LOOK OUTSIDE OF HER LAKESHORE TONIGHT. TOMORROW, AND INTO SUNDAY COULD BE A REAL MESSY ONE. ELLIS IS HERE NOW WITH A CHECK OF WHAT THE WEEKEND HOLDS FOR US. SATURDAY BETTER THAN SUNDAY FOR SURE BUT EVEN PART OF SUNDAY, MAY BE SALVAGEABLE BEFORE THIS NEXT MOVES IN. IT TONIGHT AND TOMORROW, MAYBE A FEW FLURRIES WILL CONTINUE, WE'LL LEAVE THAT IN THE FORECAST WITH OVERNIGHT LOWS DROPPING A BIT FROM WHERE THEY ARE CURRENTLY SITTING INTO THE UPPER 20s AND LOW 30s DEPENDING ON WHERE YOU ARE, WE MAY EVEN SEE A FEW UPPER TEENS HERE OR THERE. CHILLY NIGHT BUT NOT TOO FAR OFF FROM WHERE WE SHOULD BE THIS TIME OF YEAR. RADAR RELATIVELY QUIET UNTIL YOU LOOK FURTHER TO THE SOUTH AND THE GOOD NEWS IS MOST OF THIS WILL STAY TO THE SOUTH BUT IT IS ALSO WHY I AM LEAVING A FEW FLURRIES IN THE FORECAST. LOOK AT THE LARGER PICTURE AND YOU CAN SEE WE ARE KIND OF SANDWICHED IN BETWEEN A BIT OF LAKE EFFECT SNOW TO THE NORTH AND ONE QUICK LITTLE BRIEF SYSTEM TO THE SOUTH, ONCE THAT MOVES THROUGH WE ARE FREE AND CLEAR FOR 24 HOURS BEFORE THE NEXT SYSTEM GETS CLOSER. FORECAST FOR TOMORROW, WE MAY SEE A BIT OF SUNSHINE IN THE MORNING, TEMPERATURES MOVING INTO THE MID-30s FOR SOME OF YOU, BUT, CLOUDS ARE REALLY GOING TO RULE THE DAY WITH A FEW FLURRIES ARE POSSIBLE. THEN IT IS ALL ABOUT SUNDAY, AND, SNOW TERRAIN IS KEPT THAT IN THE FORECAST FOR CONSISTENCY SAKE, BUT I REALLY THINK IT WILL BE MORE SNOW THAN ANYTHING ELSE. LOOKS LIKE THE TREND WILL KEEP US ON THE SNOW YOUR SIDE. RADAR TRACKER, WALKING YOU THROUGH EARLY MORNING TOMORROW, LOOKING GOOD IF YOU HAVE PLANS FOR TOMORROW AFTERNOON NOT SO BAD, MAYBE A FEW FLURRIES OR SNOW SHOWERS BY KICKOFF, AFTER THAT QUIET SATURDAY NIGHT AS WELL. BUT BY SUNDAY MORNING, WE START TO SEE THE NEXT SYSTEM COME INTO VIEW, AND I THINK THAT BY ABOUT MID DAY, WE'LL HAVE SNOW OVER SPREADING THE AREA. IT WILL FALL AS SNOW INITIALLY BUT TEMPERATURES MAY BE ABOVE FREEZING SO SOME OF THIS WILL MELT AS IT FALLS ON THEN IF THE TEMPERATURES WARM UP EVEN MORE WE MAY SEE SOME OF THIS CHANGEOVER TO A BIT OF RAIN. I THINK BY THAT POINT MOST OF THE MOISTURE WILL HAVE ALREADY FALLEN AS SNOW BEFORE THAT CHANGEOVER OCCURS. WE MAY GET A FEW CHANGEOVERS WERE WINTRY MIX SHOWERS ON THE BACKSIDE OF THIS. 1 TO 2 INCHES, PERHAPS A FEW SPOTS OF 2.5 OR 2.6 INCHES OF SNOW, A LITTLE BIT HIGHER RIGHT ALONG THE WISCONSIN BORDER, MUCH LOWER AMOUNTS FURTHER TO THE SOUTH YOU GO, AND THEN AFTER THAT, WELL WE DO EXPECT TEMPERATURES TO COOL DOWN A BIT. NEXT WEEK IT IS QUIET, BUT TEMPERATURES ARE TRENDING ON THE DOWNWARD SIDE, WE GO BACK INTO THE 20s BY THE TIME WE GET THURSDAY AND FRIDAY THOSE ARE
