and we're here on the crankworx downhill course

this week Crankworx will take place in Innsbruck

and we've the privilege of showing you the downhill track

I'd say let's get on the bikes and show you the track

Alright

Straight out of the start

it starts immediately with 100%

you really have to be focused from the start on

you barely have time to warm up

now we're going over some roots

as you can see there quite some lines to choose

it's still very flowy

there are lots of little berms

let's go inside here

Alright, now we go to left into a new section compared to last year

very slippery moss corner

it's super good fun

on the road and now there will be even more roots

now we get the real roots

and there you can

win or lose a lot of time in the race

basically it's important

that you ride the track

without making too many mistakes

that's the key

ride smooth, no mistakes

and taking the speed out of the corners is the key

pretty exhausting

alright , no out of the woods

now it get's pretty tricky

which are really rad and super good fun

I actually have a motocross background, so I'm a bit used to them

here's an open very slippery gravel corner

you have to be careful here

we hit that nicely

there you can berm

now we've got some left and right turns

really difficult

really difficult to ride it smooth

and ehm

and to take the speed out of the turns

without making any mistakes

Even if the track is pretty short

it's still a very challenging and technical track

the track demands a lot from the riders

off track

on the north shore and over the finish jump

dude how sick

really sick

but definitely pretty exhausting

I think we had a constant nice speed

we didn't make a lot of mistakes

really good fun

the race is on Sunday
