Irikonji Dive Shorts offer a unique alternative to hard-to-reach BC pockets or dangling D-rings.
Created by divers, and meticulously fabricated in the US using premium materials, these shorts
are ideal for working divers requiring easy access to tools, as well as recreational divers
seeking a versatile storage system that can be worn alone, or slipped over a wetsuit or
drysuit. Five self-draining cargo pockets hold everything from backup lights and safety
markers to spare masks, and are strategically positioned for easy access. Oversized hook-and-loop
closures are reversed to prevent snagging on wetsuits, while elastic flap retainers
and sewn-in internal D-rings provide additional security. Strategically placed Lycra expansion
panels and a smooth, anti-chafe liner provide comfort when worn wet or dry. The tight-weave
fabric is water and dirt repellant, making the shorts equally well suited for adventure
travel and active sports ranging from paddleboarding to caving.
Bottom line: Gear-laden divers will appreciate the secure storage capacity of this unique
piece of dive apparel, but the appeal goes beyond the reef, earning these shorts a place
not only in dive bags, but also in the backpacks of adventure traveler and water sports enthusiasts.
