Well the first step to becoming a man

is stop asking these stupid damn questions.

This is a stupid question: "Can you make a video

"about how to become a man, who can manage yourself,

"manage a family, manage a empire, conquer the world

"just like you?

"What action would we take?

"What vision of ourselves in the next five years?"

How would I know what vision you should have for yourself?

I wouldn't know that.

This comes from a saying that I taught in one of my videos.

In Chinese (speaks foreign language).

The four things: manage yourself.

What does it mean?

What the heck does it mean to manage yourself?

It means manage your emotions,

manage your state, manage your skills,

become the best version of yourself that you could be.

You can't even do that, how are you gonna manage your family

if you cannot become the best version of yourself?

How are you gonna become the best dad that you could be,

the best mom, the best husband, the best wife?

You can't, you have to learn to manage yourself first.

Problem is, you've never been taught on how to do that,

because your whole life, listen to me,

your whole life most people

have such low expectations for you,

they don't expect much out of you.

So then, guess what,

you don't have much expectations for yourself.

Most people will grow with low self-esteem,

because your parents never gave you self-esteem.

I don't mean that "Oh, yeah, you do a good job, yeah!

"You know, it's okay you're not first,

"it's okay to be the ninth place, you tried your best,"

I don't mean that bullshit.

I mean they don't have very high standards for you,

they are setting you up for failure,

they're teaching you how to settle to be average,

how to settle for less, "It's okay, don't stand out,

"don't make noise, just get a safe secure job,

"be content, why are you so ambitious,

"why can't you like be your sister,

"why can't you be like your cousin?" all this bullshit.

Manage yourself, then you can manage your family.

Then you can build an empire,

now you're leading a lot of people.

Only when you could do that, then you can conquer the world.

That was back then in Chinese,

because it was from the military, back then the war,

what it really means is impacting a lot of people.

You can't manage yourself how are you gonna impact others.

You cannot even save yourself.

Most people try to save others before they save themself.

They try to save everybody else, save the world

before they save themself.

Save yourself first, so you can save others,

but you know what, most people

actually don't want to save others.

They don't wanna help others, they say they want,

it's all lip service, they don't want to.

You can't even get yourself out of bed,

you don't have enough self discipline to put yourself

to step outside your comfort zone

to do what is necessary,

put in some effort, roll up the sleeves,

do some hard work.

And you say you want to help others, you don't,

'cause you don't wanna be a role model for others,

you know how hard it is, you know how tough it is,

you don't want that responsibility,

you don't want that kind of accountability.

So you're like "Ah," easy to hide behind the mask,

"Oh I wanna help others," like the hell you want to.

Can't even help yourself.

Help yourself first, before you wanna help others.

The vision, if you can't even articulate your vision,

you don't even know what that vision is,

you're asking this question, how are you gonna be the man?

How are you gonna be the woman?

How are you gonna be the person,

the best version of yourself that you could be?

It's a dream, you'll never get there.

You watch a thousand YouTube videos,

you just won't get there.

Makes no fucking difference.

Absolutely no difference.

Only when you can do that, everything falls in line.
