  • Justin Chambers, who played fan favorite character Alex, one of the few original characters left in the Serie is officially exited the show, leaving Ellen Pompeo as the only Ogi intern still on the show.

  • Yeah, Justin's last episode were aired way back in November, and although no new footage was included last night, he did provide a voiceover for the flashback heavy episode.

  • So what happened to Alex?

  • Well, in letters he penned to his former co workers, he told them that he is living with his ex wife, Izzie Stevens, who used his sperm to have twins.

  • Those twins are now five, and he left Seattle to go raise the Children together on a farm in Kansas.

  • That sounds like a soap.

  • Very, it's a lot of happening.

  • Come have a look at some of last night's emotional episode.

  • Dear Joe Mayor thistles.

  • Not the way I wanted to do this.

  • Dear Doctor Male regret to inform you, blob!

  • Blob, that I will not be returning to grace long.

  • The last thing on Earth I want to do is hurt you, but I'm leaving already left.

  • Actually, I'm gone.

  • Alex Karev isn't coming back.

  • Left his wife, his friends, his job.

  • Alex Karev is now a father of two with Izzie Stevens, and if they take my recommendation seriously, he'll soon be chief of Pedes at Shawnee Memorial.

  • Well, this has got to do with Joey.

  • No, it is a matter of luck of grace that Alex Karev is who he is today.

  • He could have just as easily been lost to this world.

  • Aimless, but he survived his home, his family very emotional correctness now father to surprise father of all right fans have had some very mixed reactions.

  • The Justin's exit from the Siri's and showrunner Krista Vernoff took to Twitter to say it is nearly impossible to say goodbye to Alex Karev.

  • That is as true for me, and for all of the writers agree, Madam E.

  • As it is for the fans.

  • We have a lot of driving, Alex and we have loved watching Justin Chambers nuanced portrayal of them for 16 seasons.

  • 16 years we have grown up alongside Alex Karev.

  • You have been frustrated by as limitations, and we have been inspired by his growth, and we have come to love him deeply and to think of him as one of our very best friends.

  • We'll miss him terribly.

  • We will always be grateful for his impact on our show on our hearts on our fans on the world.

  • And Ellen Pompeo herself posted a message on Instagram saying, So let's not be sad.

  • As our fearless leader always says, Let's pull up and celebrate the actors, the writers and the fantastic crew who make this show come to life every week, no matter what the challenge or how tired we all are.

  • In the end, you keep us going.

  • That is worth dancing it out over so much love and gratitude to you all.

  • I mean, I'm not a huge fit, Kenny.

  • We call myself a fan because I haven't really watched 16 seasons of Grey's Anatomy.

  • Doesn't really hit it doesn't really.

  • You're not a hospital drama person.

  • Uh, yeah, I I can understand why friend I was going through some Twitter and some of the reactions to the episode last night, And people seem to be very upset because of the growth that the character had went through.

  • Yes, set for him to just leave.

  • And so this to them, is like a betrayal of all of that product 100% because it's like we watched him grow for 16 seasons.

  • And now he's just leaving to go to this farm with, You know, this woman left his wife, left his friend.

  • Exactly.

  • So I can see why Grace fans are upset.

  • Peter says Justin will be back.

  • Come on.

  • Denise says, Honestly, can't believe it's still on TV.

  • Yeah, I mean, I'm not gonna say that, Uh, I think to place him in the same space is Izzy is more telling drama drama.

  • Uh, yeah.

  • So people seem this is simply Simone says this is a disservice to his character ruining a 15 year character arc with fan fiction ending Just disappoint.

  • Interesting.

  • We were talking about it quite a bit it back in November when it was announced that he had left the shell that hit film his final episode already.

  • And it was like, How are they going to say goodbye?

  • What?

  • And I'm sure fans have been waiting all these months for for something for some sort of.

  • I mean, how do you write off the character that's been on the show for 16 years without actually probably a good episode?

  • That is true, but a lot of people were like and I was surprised by this.

  • A lot of people on Twitter, like I would have rather just seen them kill his character off.

  • I think I can understand that, right?

  • Because this way it's like a decision that he's made that's betraying the growth of the character.

  • If it was like him having been killed off somewhere another, it was it would be a kind of fit in with the whole Grey's anatomy thing.

  • But this does leave the door open for him to come by.

  • And as we know, Catherine, hi, girls.

  • Career isn't, you know sure isn't what it once waas.

  • So I know she kind of burned some bridges there, but, you know, he, uh, some sort of spin off Alex Anus, Alex and Alex and Izzy out of the fire.

  • Me?

  • That's right.

  • So far.

  • Okay.

  • Morning.

That's right.
