  • I don't ever wanna welcome to another video.

  • Now, while ago we took a look at my mom's PC, a budget gaming system that she purchased on the used market.

  • Today we're taking a look at another family members computer.

  • This is my sister's gaming PC, a PC.

  • I didn't even know that she had, but apparently she uses it quite often to play your games like the Sims and Rollercoaster Tycoon on.

  • No, I don't know what's inside this thing, but I said, You know what?

  • Can I review it for the channel?

  • I don't know how good or bad it's gonna be yet, but I'm sure we'll find the information that was we got along.

  • So where is this piece in question?

  • Are you ask?

  • Well, this is the gaming PC, so obviously it's a pre built and doesn't initially looked too much, but there are a few signs on here that may give away just specifications inside.

  • Nonetheless, let's get into it and see what we're dealing with.

  • So obviously the PC did turn on here, and it turns out she was running Windows 10 an excellent choice in 2018 or the window seven will always be my personal favorite.

  • I jumped into a few of the games that I found on the hard drive with the promise that I wouldn't override any save games.

  • So I started again in all of these titles.

  • The first game I came across was this one called Farm together.

  • I've never heard of it before, but it's actually pretty fun.

  • You just have a little farm to tend to.

  • I think you grow crops, sell crops, stuff like that and it's pretty addictive.

  • I have to admit I've been playing it a lot for the small being.

  • I'm running through the tutorial here again just to sort of bench month with first half an hour of the game.

  • And I have to say this is a very fun to play, especially on the lower into system.

  • It's running at 7 20 p, 80% resolution scaling and for a game like this, it sure does have a lot off graphical options, especially under the advanced menu.

  • Now, one thing I did notice from hooking it up to my monitor was that there is no external graphics card, so we are obviously making use here off an integrated solution whether that be Intel, HD graphics or otherwise.

  • But we will find that out once we open this system up after testing a couple more games.

  • I wanted to leave it a little bit and sort of surprised you guys as well as myself as toe.

  • What on earth is inside this thing?

  • But this game runs okay.

  • 7 20 p.

  • 80% resolution skating sort of CD graphics we dealing with here aren't exactly on the rise and through Arise and five a p.

  • U levels off performance.

  • Another game she likes to play in.

  • One that's also installed on this hard drive was the Sims to know.

  • I've never really been a fan of any of the seams games if I'm being honest.

  • But they are very popular titles, and I was actually surprised at how bad this one round.

  • I think that seems to came out in, what, 2004 I believe.

  • And, uh, yeah, for a game that's over 13 14 years old.

  • It really doesn't perform all that fantastically.

  • But of course, that does depend on the hardware inside this machine.

  • At a 7 20 p here we were averaging around 30 frames per second, although when we sort of zoomed into someone's house, the frame rate dropped massively.

  • We were seeing like five or six frames per second.

  • In some instances on, Dhe could in some situations make the game unplayable.

  • Luckily, they're in a game like this isn't exactly the most fast paced in the world.

  • So it's easy to understand how someone could deal with playing it like this.

  • I mean, you're not doing anything crazy, Lee intensive.

  • So those few frame drops every now and then shouldn't really bother a lot of people, especially considering that the Sims is a sort of slow paced, sort of relaxing title.

  • I've actually never seen such varied performance from a game, depending on where you are on the overall map as well.

  • So this one is quite hard to run on this system.

  • 2000 thirteen's Tomb Raider actually ran okay, albeit with 800 by 600 resolution.

  • We averaged 35 frames per second here, but that game did state quite smooth, and part of the request to actually upgrade this was based around this game in the fact that it doesn't run so well at high out resolutions, 100 by 600.

  • As I say, we'll be okay.

  • But anything above that even 7 20 p and you will start to see slightly more significant frame drops Here are running game Benjamin test three times and then combine the average to avoid seeing what was inside this machine at the time, I jumped into the game first before adjusting any of the graphical settings, because I can't remember if the launcher gives away your graphics hold way or no.

  • But speaking of which, now is the point in time to reveal not only to you guys but to myself, the extent of the force specifications that lay within this system's walls.

  • So let's get into it and take a look inside now opening this thing up on.

  • Of course, there is no external graphics card here, but what I did notice is that we do get a healthy eight gigs of DDR three memory, which is very nice indeed.

  • I can also see that the board is indeed an intel socket, so that just leaves the process.

  • Sir, what CPU is this machine using?

  • Well, let's fire up Cinna bench, see what's here, and then check out what sort of score it gets and how it compares to other, more modern processes.

  • Opening ups intervention.

  • I was quite surprised to see an Ivy Bridge Court I five quad core CPU.

  • Inside this build.

  • It's an eye.

  • 5 33 30 clocks at three gigahertz on features four cause as well as four threats.

  • Now this would have been great as part of a budget, gaming PC or sort of mainstream gaming PC, actually, a few years ago on Dhe.

  • With score 420 points, he should still be able to keep up fairly well in a lot of modern scenarios, both in gaming on dhe editing as well.

  • Obviously, it won't be the fastest, but I think I scored 4 20 is still pretty reasonable.

  • If you ask me on dhe for a chip that can be picked up for a small fraction of what it wants cost.

  • I do believe it's still a pretty decent solution.

  • I mean, we've taken a look back at sandy breed dry fives in the past, things like the eye 5 25 100 they still hold up pretty well, even in 2000 and 18.

  • But now let's consider what sort of upgrades you could make to a machine like this.

  • First of all, I wondered how the graphics card the 77 70 tested in my last video would hold up in this build, especially considering within I five and eight Gigs of Ram.

  • It really isn't all that bad after all.

  • And all that you'd probably need would be an after mentioned GPU as well was perhaps a power supply replacement.

  • So let's get the 77 70 in, and I took you through a few results and how things changed.

  • So with the 77 70 in the system, I jump back into Tomb Raider to see how much of a difference we could notice.

  • Now you have to bear with me here.

  • I had some trouble with M S I after burner nothing too unusual there.

  • But I can say that the game on normal with a few high settings thrown in as well, did run on average at 50 frames per second.

  • This is combining the eye five.

  • Of course, with this graphics card at 10.

  • 80 p resolution.

  • Ah, welcome improvement over using it with the on board H D graphics on having to turn everything down to low Tomb Raider, Then the game that my our sister was mainly concerned about seeing improvements in does now run fairly well on this set up when we tested this GPU with my rise and 5 1600 a couple of days ago, it actually did really, really well when surprised me quite a bit.

  • And you see how much of a difference a process that can make as we move on to call of duty World War Two.

  • So while the addition off the graphics card here did make games, I call of duty World War Two payable, there was clearly still an issue with CPU.

  • We did Steve some stuttering, and this game is quite CPU intensive from my experience.

  • If you remember when we tested it with the rise of five yesterday, we were seeing at least 60 frames per second almost all of the time.

  • But even here you will see a few drops on this four core four threaded process.

  • Er, that's not to say you can't have a decent experience at 10 a teepee with a mix of normal and low settings.

  • A few options were indeed set, too high as well, and it's certainly a welcome improvement over those HD 2500 graphics found on the I five itself.

  • Finally, it's Rainbow six Siege, and I decided to play a bit of the lone wolf terrorist hands on a couple of levels.

  • I also ran the endgame benchmark and sort of combine the average from all three situations on dhe with 10 80 p resolution on a mixture off low on normal settings.

  • Here we saw roughly 50 frames per second, once again, anywhere between 50 and 60.

  • In fact, the benchmark test did slightly better.

  • And when we went into the actual gameplay, the frame rate did very depending on the map we were playing.

  • Now this will probably change again when it comes to multi player game play.

  • But here I don't think it did.

  • Too bad.

  • We sort of went off subject a little bit in regards with what this review was about, although we had pretty much covered how capable this system was within the first few minutes off the video.

  • And so it was in dire need of an upgrade If I'm being honest.

  • Of course, 82,000 or 3000 graphics or any Intel graphics, for that matter, do have certain positives about them and can be used to play games providing they're not that intensive.

  • Eventually made a video about it before Intel have their own dedicated site that explain what setting is the best to use if you are running on intelligent graphic, so I'd advise checking out that video if you want.

  • You can also check out the video regarding the 77 70 with what it can do with a more powerful process.

  • Sir.

  • Again, mentoring Rainbow succeeds here briefly.

  • The I five did cause a few status here and there, but I think, as I said, it's a vast improvement over what the integrated GPU integrated integrated.

  • You bu I just said there can dough so nonetheless.

  • I hope you've enjoyed this video.

  • I hope you've enjoyed this.

  • Look at my sister's mystery speck gaming PC.

  • That's not so much Mr Respect anymore.

  • If you did that, he ever like on it down below Lever dislike.

I don't ever wanna welcome to another video.
