And I booked this about about a month ago.

Sorry about that.

We literally just got into a room.

We have actually been waiting ages to get into our room.

We left our house at three o'clock this morning, half three.

This morning on.

We arrived here about one o'clock on our room.

Wasn't ready until three, but we actually decided to change rooms on upgrade a little bit.

I had been looking forward Thio blogging this trip because it was our first sort of what this is now.

Essentially, it was gonna be our mini moon, but I think now it's turned into our honeymoon.

He's like, there's a big window here that leads away through.

I'm gonna show you our hotel room because, honestly, this is amazing Such a massive splurge for us.

But we the fact I even made it here is something in itself.

The fact that I'm even speaking to you guys is another thing altogether.

But we've always had a really, really crap time on Dhe.

I honestly, I didn't think I'd feel comfortable speaking to you guys and blogging like this.

So I'm kind of just taking this as it comes.

But at the same time, I mean, I was just talking before we got in our very minute.

It's like he was even saying to me, You love your job.

You have to kind of force yourself into the things that you remember.

That may make you happy.

And my job obviously does make me happy.

I love my job.

I love everything that I do.

It's just when you get unhappy like that and something to deal with your joy, you can't find happiness in anything, so this is probably gonna be really hard.

But I think that hard in the sense that you know, just in here, no hard in the sense of like, difficult.

It's like manual labor esque I said from the moment that we put that babe, I am blogging this trip because I wanted to come to this hotel.

For years I've never been here before.

We booked and paid for this ourselves on this was gonna be our mini moon, but we decided to just make it.

We know that will never, ever get to book something in another will never, ever get to put something we will.

But this is a holiday in a long time.

On DDE we wanted to make the most of it, so we treated ourselves to a bit of a nice room here.

I'm gonna sort of take this as it comes.

It may not be my best log, and it may not be what you're used to it It may not be the person that you're used to, and I'm just gonna do my best.

So if this isn't my usual epic film that I do I'm sorry.

I'm just trying Thio take steps in this on.

Just try and at least get back to a certain level of normality on DDE.

Yeah, you got anything else to say that alleys like the person that's pushing me at the moment.

Yeah, it was.

I think it's one of those things where this is the first time That very productive, actually, Probably ever had green something.

Yeah, well, someone and in our case, links was like a little boy to us.

I think that way never anticipated how much losing somebody did you love was gonna hit ups yet, And I think that that's probably took us by surprise as well as obviously, how hard it is for anybody that's ever lost some body or some one look a useful over furtive stump.

Because to us, he waas like a little boy on Dhe.

He was part of our family, and he is part of a family on DDE.

I personally found that working through the pain on DDE, pushing myself toe do things that weren't necessarily comfortable.

But knowing that that was the only way that I was going to move forward and continue with life without him, I think that that's worlds working for me.

So I just give him you that knowledge and Obviously it might know Be good, but I just feel like I've gotten stronger and I'm able Thio cope with his disappearance when I'm pushing myself to continue with life and that's not me moving on from links, That's just me moving bored with him in my pools.

Yeah, Yeah, I'm sorry.

We're just both of us are just gonna take it at whatever pace we feel comfortable.

And it's a no pressure situation.

Yeah, this might be the worst log I've ever done.

It might help me, but it it's pretty horrific ones, but yeah.

So anyway, I thought I'd sell by doing the easy thing and just give you a look around are really lovely hotel room.

We've really gone to town on this and treat ourselves we're making up for all those years that we've got six years of holidays.

Yeah, and I know you have work trips.

They're always really lovely.

But there is an element of difference to what an actual holiday is like.

We get spoiled on some of our work.

Yeah, that's why we don't do it.

Expectations?

Yeah.

So when you realize like that MCA Damien no cashew nuts cost like £15 for a bit.

I think sometimes I would check the list.

Okay, because I bet you want to.

I know a secret caches anyway, so let's have a look around on our friends.

Leonian Alex are staying here is well, so you may see them pop up in the video if I get the camera out when I'm with them.

To be honest, when we're with them when we're with people, it's really nice.

We just so, uh, have fun again and laugh and enjoy ourselves, and it distracts us.

It's when we're together.

We think about him warmer.

Yeah, yeah, yeah when we're alone.

Yeah, And I think taking time out from the house I feel like it may be stolen.

I think it was a big boost.

Yeah, we just stay around.

This is we are We are still hopeful.

The other thing.

I feel like my outlook has changed a little bit more and I'm able to be more.

Yeah, just when you have a fax, you have to just yeah, gay with your emotions.

And we are down by yo yo's like the moment where everyone talks a camera.

Even during today, when I wouldn't have been able to covered Is that Yeah.

Also, just to say we didn't book this trip with Leonie and Alex.

They just happened to be here at the same time and they actually leave tomorrow.

And we obviously only arrived today, So it's just nice to spend a little bit of time with them here.

And they're gonna show us some nice three places before they go to their next hotel.

They're going somewhere else on the island, but yet so starting off with something easy without going to show you around our incredible room here and just take you on are like little mini moon honeymoon thing that we're finally getting have, like almost two years later.

So we're staying at Hacienda Er No, Samina.

I think that's how you say it here and I beat on.

We just upgraded our room from the junior suite to the Na Semana suite, which is pretty bloody epic and has a whole bedroom that we're not even gonna need to use.

So when you come in one of the doors that this dream, this is like a a twin room.

You can obviously have separate beds in.

There's a bathroom there.

Come to the will of this stuff in here.

It's nice and cool in here as well.

Which is good on.

We'll probably just not used that room.

Really.

This is like the little lounge area, which I really, really like this piece of our like how it sort of draws in all of the pinks.

And then this looks like a teak table, which is just beautiful half see, Beautiful.

Ali's already raided the minibar.

Lots of water.

And then that's another entrance there.

Then we've got TV on.

Then out here is one of our balconies.

This is like the main terrorist.

So we've got this seating area, and we've got our own, like, hot tub pull.

This room is definitely more private.

In the other rooms, we kind of felt like all the other rooms were quite overlooked.

So that was one of the things that yeah.

Oh, my God.

I mean, not that we're gonna be doing yet mass shots, but we love this stuff last year.

Yeah.

Ah, lot of that was confusing.

Now it comes out every like party we have.

Ah, here.

Sorry, I got distracted there, but the main thing that's always drawn me to this hotel is the V's.

So if you've seen this face on Instagram or anything like that, it's like set into a cliff in I B.

That's like in the middle of nowhere on Dhe is just the most breathtaking bar.

Unfortunately, they're having building work going on at moments.

That makes it kind of a little bit ugly.

Now there.

They didn't obviously tell us that there was building work, but well, but yeah, apparently the sun sets, like right in the middle here.

So we've come right at the perfect time to experience that, but it's just incredible.

And then you can see like, pools on dhe.

We were sunbathing over there earlier on just the rest of the hotel, but I think we'll probably just spend a lot of time in our room on just some bathing in here because this isn't like a party holiday or anything like that.

This is a relax ation.

I'm just treating ourselves giving ourselves a little bit of a boost.

So that's the first balcony, and then this is our bedroom alleys currently unpacking his suitcase on This is our bed and this is our view.

So we've got another little balcony here is overlooking cliffs of the island again and it is just unbelievable.

I feel like I'm stood on the end of the world.

It's amazing.

So then this is our dream Going back inside Ali is in the little walking water.

I love it when reams have this where you could just put all of your stuff out the way and it not be like in your room.

I really love that.

Then we've also got a shower here, which is like a steam shower on dhe.

Then this is the bar which, obviously again, you could look out over the cliffs and stuff, which is gorgeous.

And then Big Mary here.

Sorry, I'm still in my like bikini and stuff, but I need to get shout because we're gonna go for dinner later.

We're gonna watch the sunset tonight is amazing.

There's, like, amazing elements to the room.

There are bits of it that just like a little bit like shabby, like those curtains they could easily put in nicer curtains on.

We have been waiting ages for this room.

But that might be awful because we chose to, like, upgrade last minute.

But we tried to book a really nice room on line on.

They only had, like, one room left.

So we just thought we would ask when we got here, they had this room available for four nights and then they had another eat and sweet, which waas available for only two nights.

And we just thought, we don't want to be moving around everywhere on Dhe, having two in my face, having thio like, uproot ourselves.

We just wanted to relax.

So we did really splurge on this particular suite on DDE.

I'm probably gonna kick myself when I get home, but I feel like we we deserve it.

It's been a few things I was looking forward to celebrating this week on dhe.

Obviously, I have not celebrated anything because of what's been going on.

So this is just a little a little pick me up so anywhere, I'm gonna unpack my suitcase now on.

Get all my clothes out.

I know I've got on.

Then I think we're gonna be going for healthy vegan food with Leonie and Alex evening watching the sunset.

She should be ready.

I'm in the middle of doing my makeup, but room service has arrived on.

We are actually going out to dinner later.

Oh, my God, That's like that must be like five avocados.

This is what I've gone for.

I've got the burrata and avocado pony.

There's gluten free bread.

I've had that gluten free bread before.

I'll probably just have this, to be fair with out on the terrace, having a little bit of a snack before we go out is a crotch shot.
