  • All right, guys.

  • After all, the base colors are laid down.

  • I've got head and assembled some sections.

  • We can get an idea of that and really liking how this system turning out.

  • So far, the color is looking really nice.

  • Just give you a look at a couple of sections here like there's the torso.

  • You got the shield here as well. 00:00:58.180 --> 00:01:5.020 The yellow is worried when I sprained it that it was not quite bright enough, but definitely when you said it against the lavender there. 00:01:5.200 --> 00:01:7.660 It's looking very nice, and the lavender also is much lighter. 00:01:7.900 --> 00:01:9.400 Think even lighter than expected. 00:01:9.400 --> 00:01:10.490 But it's okay.

  • I think it looks good.

  • It's definitely a little bit lighter than I think what is on the actual master grade kid?

  • But that's okay.

  • I was basically using the master grade, as I said, as a reference for, like, basically color placement, and it's gonna the general idea of where the colors should be.

  • But it wasn't to worry about matching it every exactly everywhere.

  • So other thing I will point out is for the eyes.

  • I didn't mention this yet, but for the high part you can see I've got head and painted and gold because it looks like on the master again, the yellow The eyes are kind of like a clear yellow kind of color.

  • And so about this golden look quite nice.

  • And then once I fill in the black around the eyes because once again, the eyes on this kid aren't actual recess to detail instead of a raise detail.

  • So that makes it a little bit not the harder but a little bit different from your normal kid for how it normally paint eyes on H G s O normally at the step. 00:01:54.400 --> 00:02:6.060 What I would do is just make some assembly like this as faras putting some pieces together, and then I'll go and do the top coat over it so that I could move on into detail painting and panel lines, things like that. 00:02:6.060 --> 00:02:8.050 But what I want to do in this case a little bit different. 00:02:8.050 --> 00:02:12.880 Actually, they wanted normally do is going and do some of the kind of not exactly detail painting.

  • What kind of like filling in painting, which what I mean by that is like for here, like the backside of the skirts, especially for an HD like this like for the back inside of the skirts.

  • I just paint this all in dark gray Or like, for example, the part for the ankle guard.

  • They're just, like paint the back of this star Grace.

  • So just help helps to add, like that dark backing so it looks like the front of the part is painted in the back.

  • Would probably would not necessarily be painted realistically.

  • So just something dark to kind of match the frame.

  • In this case, I'm gonna be using just a German gray, which is a typical paint color that I will typically used for this.

  • No, doesn't exactly match this.

  • It's not quite as dark as the color that I used for, like the frame joint parts for this, actually.

  • But it's okay if it doesn't match exactly, it can have a two tone look, I'm fine with that. 00:02:56.090 --> 00:03:1.560 This is basically the detail painting that is not necessarily to bring out detail, but it's just to add for the stuff. 00:03:1.560 --> 00:03:8.980 That's kind of like in the background of the parts, the things that you're not really paying attention to as faras detail, but without it kind of looks. 00:03:9.100 --> 00:03:19.780 It doesn't look weird But if it looks better, if you go ahead and fill in some of these spaces, so also did do a little bit of masking on a couple of parts just for like, here to mask around the elbow drinks.

  • I wanted that to be in the kind of frame color, but as you saw before, it's molded together with the form.

  • Let him ask that.

  • But I did mess up a little bit.

  • I got some paint, came out through my masking tape there so you can see a little bit over spray.

  • They're on the form, so I do have a little bit of touching up to do on the parts that I'm asked.

  • Elsa masked the little event there on the side of the shoulder.

  • Part of those came out fine, didn't have any problems with those and then mask this part here.

  • That center part of the joint there for the legs, eyes molded together with this guy apart.

  • So I did mascot off to make that great, but I'm noticing that I should have made this part also great.

  • There's like 123 kind of parts of that joint there and just the center one in dark Gray doesn't look quite right for me. 00:03:57.820 --> 00:04:1.440 So I'm gonna go ahead and just paint this one here on this side as well. 00:04:1.440 --> 00:04:3.690 But I think I probably do that Ah, little bit later. 00:04:4.030 --> 00:04:5.060 Take this part here. 00:04:5.060 --> 00:04:6.710 Like for the back of ankle. 00:04:6.720 --> 00:04:12.130 And it's the kind of parts where I don't I really don't need to bother with thinning the paint.

  • And I don't need to worry about being like, super crazy precise about him.

  • I'll pay attention to what I'm doing, but this'll stage is kind of pretty easier.

  • Basically just need to fill in these parts, because again, it's just gonna be like in the background.

  • So if you're looking at the kid from the front, this'll kind of this kind of stuff, you're just not really gonna see if you're looking at it from some different angles or something.

  • Then you might catch like a glimpse up behind one of the armor parts of him like that, and you want it to look like, uh, like you've covered all your bases.

  • If you ever seeing you see this a lot, if you look at kids online even by, you know, really good mothers.

  • We all missed any idea that sometimes a lot will just miss something where you see that behind one of the parts and you can tell that it just doesn't look quite right. 00:04:56.040 --> 00:05:7.360 Because if you're imagining this to be like an actual giant robot thing, you think like this kind of detail here, this part which is holding on his ankle armour on the front, wouldn't be painted probably in the same color. 00:05:7.360 --> 00:05:9.880 This is the armor is sort of like a mechanical part of the kid. 00:05:9.880 --> 00:05:14.380 Or like a background behind the one of the armor pieces.

  • Something like that.

  • It makes more sense to be in kind of the same color as the frame, for example, Now I can see that part on the front, painted and unpainted.

  • Which one is gonna look better?

  • Night is gonna be covered up, of course, by the part here on the front.

  • So once again, just painted an unpainted Let's have a look here in the front.

  • You're not really gonna notice.

  • But if you look closely, you can see it looks much better on this one where the ankle armour, first of all, that connection is much less visible being a dark color to gonna match the frame part in behind there, where this one it really pops out, and it looks just kind of not quite as good.

  • So it definitely takes, definitely pays to take time to paint in the little details like that again.

  • Sort of the background parts.

  • That's just really helped the overall look of the kid. 00:05:56.050 --> 00:06:2.110 All right, so now I'm just moving ahead with some of the basic steps I went and did Penhall lining in that nothing really special just did some black panel lining. 00:06:2.110 --> 00:06:4.520 And so that helps to just bring out some of little details. 00:06:4.680 --> 00:06:8.990 Although this kid doesn't really have a whole lot of panel, I need to do another just a little bit here in there. 00:06:9.140 --> 00:06:18.730 And now it is going in and working on some of the detail painting, some of which I was doing in German grace in which I'm doing here and today I'm silver, some which I'm doing here in dark gray.

  • So, for example, here in the backpack, you can see I just painted in these little areas here in the titanium and inside of thrust of bells there just once again.

  • Just bring out some of the little the little bits of detail on everything around on this kid when putting the two halves like the two main parts of shield together the yellow part when it pushed a through the opening here on the top part, which was originally red roses, now purple that caused, like some of the paint along the inside edge of that to kind of push ups.

  • So I got, like some of the painter on the inside edge, like along the side of the cross. 00:06:49.830 --> 00:07:1.560 Part of the purple paint was chipped up around the edges there, so I had to kind of take this part's stand that down and repaint this front part and once again with another Code Purple just uncovered that back up again, and it's okay now. 00:07:2.190 --> 00:07:3.140 Still had to fix that. 00:07:3.150 --> 00:07:9.780 Unfortunately, that's annoying, but you see in the back, go ahead and put the pieces in the back there and didn't hand aligning. 00:07:9.950 --> 00:07:16.180 And so basically, just finishing up a little bit of the detail painting here and then we're ready to go in and add some decals on this.

  • So just a few more bits to paint now.

  • All right, so then our last step wants all little detail.

  • Painting is done.

  • Is that just water slide before we get to our final top coat?

  • Then, of course.

  • So, uh, thinking after going through all my waterside everything I found on here on this water sides that from Bandai for the gym Sniper two and the gym command Master grade kids down here.

  • It's got the FSF logo in the same font which will match the logo that comes with the master grade two point.

  • Okay, so that's cool.

  • And that looks like it should just barely fit on the shoulder.

  • It's gonna be a little bit tight, but I think that should just barely fit.

  • So there's our FSF logo and then over on this she here.

  • This is just a generic. 00:07:58.820 --> 00:08:1.150 She alphabet gray here from H Q. 00:08:1.630 --> 00:08:3.900 You'll see we've got G three right there. 00:08:3.910 --> 00:08:12.370 So I think like some of these air definitely done, I think probably with some different Gundam things in mind, like once a year got the Tri Star's logo there.

  • You got the TR logo here that obviously you could use for, like advances, 80 kids, you got the FAA for a full armory.

  • Got the gym here.

  • You've got to w b for white base of some of these, I'm pretty sure are late outs with the Gundam in mind for you Just have, like, generic alphabet here so you can make your own butt.

  • You already got G three here in a couple different sizes.

  • So we have to use that for the G three logo and then for all of everything else, I'm just gonna use this set here.

  • Says generic 1 44 scale markings gray and orange.

  • So the markings are going to be just gray, gray, gray and then with little bits of orange in there as well, just for a little bits of color.

  • I think will look really nice on there because, as it is, it's all just, uh, mostly pretty, just cold with gray and then with even the purple in there, a little bit of that, but you should work just fine. 00:08:57.570 --> 00:09:0.710 Let's go ahead and get our main markings lay down. 00:09:0.720 --> 00:09:7.260 First Asia like to put down like the main be logos first and then move on to just all the little markings and everything else.

  • Wait, the white version of the decal and FSF kind of a cross logo there that I'm going to put onto the front of the shield here as well.

  • Also, just from the same vehicle set.

  • Now, unfortunately, I went for the kind of medium size font I thought it would fit, but it doesn't quite fit.

  • So instead of trying to force that, that means I've wasted. 00:10:0.650 --> 00:10:5.020 So for the moment there you can see there the main markings down on the shoulders and everything else. 00:10:5.020 --> 00:10:6.060 I'm just gonna go ahead and fill in. 00:10:6.060 --> 00:10:10.800 As for the top of the head, what I plan to do for that is to use a little bit of this here.

  • This is the mirror seal, almost like it's Aurora film.

  • What I'll do is I'll use the sticker sheet from the actual kit and lay that on here for, like a template.

  • Just cut a little, strip a little strip of this and then lay that on top of the head, and that should work.

  • But I can't try that until everything's done.

  • I don't want to spray topcoat on top of this, so it's kind of like the very last thing to do after the final topcoats on.

  • So I'll finish up decals, get this coat of topcoat, and then you guys will The next time you see this, you'll see the finished product.

  • So that's gonna be it for all the work in progress on this.

  • It was not like a ton of work early on it, but a few little minor things and little fixes here and there.

  • And I think it's going to come out looking pretty good in the end.

  • So we're almost done.

  • I'll see you guys in the final products video very soon.

  • Bye, guys.

All right, guys.
