  • Just a reminder.

  • We had three categories.

  • We had beginner category, which I'll announce first, then die Rama and then advanced categories.

  • So just to give you a breakdown of how many feel ended up finishing their entries for each category for beginner, we had a total of 36 entries for Dia Rama.

  • We had a total of seven entries and for advanced in total of 41 entries.

  • So just as faras, the entries go, it was a little bit less like in all the categories, actually a little bit less than I expected.

  • That's the theme was pretty specific, being that it should have been based around a hockey or have you should be very interested.

  • I understand that that's also gonna be a little bit limiting.

  • This is the first time that I've had the diagram a category as a separate category, because usually there's always people asking about it when I don't have it as his own category. 00:00:59.540 --> 00:01:2.540 I just kind of have, like, the advance category, like as a whole. 00:01:2.540 --> 00:01:4.850 And I said, You can do a diagram if you want. 00:01:5.000 --> 00:01:7.650 Usually some people are asking me specific questions about doing a dharma. 00:01:7.650 --> 00:01:9.850 So I thought this time we'll just make it a separate category.

  • And on Lee, seven people finish their tire.

  • Emma.

  • So if you're one of the ones who did finish your dye, my entry, then your chances are pretty good of being one of the winners.

  • Eso maybe won't do a separate diagram a category anymore in the future, unless I know there's really going to be a lot of people who are gonna want to enter that.

  • Maybe if it's a less specific theme, then maybe there would have been more entries in the drama category as well.

  • I'm not sure, but let me just also remind you guys there'll be three winners from the beginner category three winners from the diagram a category and three winners from the advanced category.

  • And now thank you special thank you to us again in store for putting some of the prizes of course.

  • And just for all their support, as always, guys who want to shop at us a gun store link will be down below.

  • Please do check that out and then as well.

  • Also, thanks to Randy, Bill and Zach. 00:01:57.420 --> 00:02:0.010 A different sex for also supplying some of the prizes. 00:02:0.010 --> 00:02:2.830 Will him and the rest of the desert is coming from me? 00:02:2.840 --> 00:02:6.610 So let me announce the winners of the beginner category now again. 00:02:6.610 --> 00:02:6.700 What? 00:02:6.700 --> 00:02:7.480 I was looking for this. 00:02:7.480 --> 00:02:8.900 It was just a photo contest. 00:02:8.900 --> 00:02:14.250 But I was looking for just a nice, cool photo, something dynamic, something interesting.

  • And, of course, usually what happens wanna have photo contest is there's a lot of similar photos, like there will be a lot of photos in this case.

  • For example, photos like outside.

  • So among, Like all of the photos, like taken out like in people's backyards.

  • I'll try to kind of Jews, like maybe the best one of those.

  • And then they'll be like all the photos can be taken inside with, like a dark background, something trying to you people usually trying to make it look like the most, is like flying in space on Jews like me.

  • best one of those.

  • So that was pretty much the case of what I did for these as well.

  • And just a reminder to that each of the categories did also have a guest judges.

  • So I got the feedback of the guest judges, picks and then my picks, and then we kind of put those together. 00:02:55.980 --> 00:03:0.520 So the guest judge for the beginner category was Adam the owner there, us a gun store. 00:03:0.530 --> 00:03:5.420 So these were our picks here for the beginner categories. 00:03:5.420 --> 00:03:16.170 So first up in the third place here, this is from Zachary of these photos that were like, uh, taken against a background of this was the most injuries.

  • Interesting how he had the Luna Geyser kit.

  • They're paired with this specific image there of the eclipse.

  • It just the image and the kid made sense together, so that made a cool image there.

  • Of that, he also has against he did also do some painting on the kid, and that wasn't a requirement for this category, so that didn't exactly give him any necessarily particular edge.

  • So the focus is more on the photograph itself.

  • So just being what it was that this was one of the better ones on the forest I can place here.

  • This goes to Rick had his shaky outdoors.

  • This was the best among the outdoors photos.

  • A lot of the outdoors photos.

  • I'll just say people, you know, like so it's very clearly just what went on their backyard or something like that and took it. 00:03:55.280 --> 00:04:1.760 And so this one, you can see, like a little bit of the house, like off there in the background, but not too much in a lot of the other photos that were entered. 00:04:1.760 --> 00:04:7.260 You have, like, someone's house or like deck or pool or something like right behind the care something. 00:04:7.260 --> 00:04:18.440 So it just kind of takes away from the from the realistic fitness of the photo, this one with their being mostly just all the plants and vegetation like there in the background.

  • And it's kind of being set in the scene, even holding onto the tree.

  • I thought this was the best of the outdoor picks that we have for this one, and the first place here goes to Vincent to have his kneeling Delta plus there and for a couple reasons, the composition of the photo is nice.

  • He has the depth of field to with the little pilot figure down there in the foreground of it, and the photo was taken from below.

  • So it's an angle to make the most actually look larger than just a tiny little plastic model.

  • So just the way the photograph was taken also just the lighting off the side there.

  • It's also quite nice.

  • He's got this kind of dramatic lighting a little bit.

  • There's sun down looks like probably. 00:04:58.150 --> 00:05:2.990 I don't think it's sunrise sundown there, kind of just hitting around on the edges of the suit. 00:05:2.990 --> 00:05:4.200 So it makes for a nice photograph. 00:05:4.210 --> 00:05:10.370 And so this was a choice there that I made for the first prize among the beginners categories.

  • So thank you to all you guys who did enter in that category and let's move on into the diagram.

  • A winners.

  • Like I said, there was only seven finished the dire Emma entries that I got.

  • So you enter the you're tense there, almost 50 50 that you're gonna at least win something.

  • And again, the guest judge for that I am a category that help me out here was none other than when I'm long multiple duty to BC Thailand winner and the BBC World champion as well.

  • So thank you to win, as always for his support and his help choosing some of these entries.

  • So, uh, third place here is gonna go to Jonathan, who had this really fun drama.

  • This is very ahead.

  • I think something that I wouldn't have been surprised if it was something that wind would have made.

  • It's very similar to the kind of stuff that we sometimes makes as well. 00:05:58.580 --> 00:06:4.170 So he has the school Dharma with Kiki or yeah, that would be the death. 00:06:4.170 --> 00:06:9.960 Plus, I'm sorry, uh, like, wired up, connected to one of the notch in tank. 00:06:9.970 --> 00:06:15.750 Gets there with the little 1/20 scale pilot controller, little boy figure from one of the mega truck it.

  • So he's got a cool kind of mix, Obviously is playing with the scale of it.

  • This is not a gigantic robot, just a medium sized robot.

  • And he's met Play with a scale with these difference.

  • Different taking models and things from different.

  • Siri's got Mecca trolling the notch in tank is just kind of come on its own.

  • And then the Gundam here all put together into this fun little diagram.

  • A something sort of like a classroom or a science room or something at a school.

  • You can imagine what the chalkboard and stuff drawn on there, and it's fun.

  • Little scene for that.

  • And it's nicely done as well.

  • Of course, the big thing.

  • Now that we're getting into the diagram and the advanced categories, I'm not only looking for cool build and creative ideas, but also execution. 00:06:57.170 --> 00:07:3.110 So you should also have a cool idea, but also executed in a proper way. 00:07:3.110 --> 00:07:4.780 So that actually does look good. 00:07:5.020 --> 00:07:10.410 Second place then, is gonna go Thio Frank on for his dire Emma.

  • We actually looked at this pretty extensively and the episode of Conflict Critique recently.

  • So you go back and check that out and talk about this one quite a lot.

  • But yeah, it's a really cool diagram.

  • I thought the nature aspect of it all the water amounted to the rocks, the trees and all that stuff looks great.

  • I thought it could have been a little bit better in the integration of the actual Mobile sits into the natural nature scene, but overall it looks great and the photography is really nice as well.

  • He's got the background in there so you can't really see.

  • Like it's kind of meant to trick your IBIs to where the Dia Rama ends.

  • And the actual background starts was just kind of commonly used movie trick, of course.

  • But in the old days, not so much these days we just have cg everything.

  • But it made for some nice photographs here of drama as well. 00:07:57.360 --> 00:08:0.660 I think the diagram over well is very nicely done. 00:08:0.660 --> 00:08:2.690 So that was a really cool one as well. 00:08:2.720 --> 00:08:8.650 And then So the first place is gonna go Thio Justin here for his There are no this one. 00:08:9.410 --> 00:08:12.660 I thought the mobile suits one of the most.

  • It's like the crash months of being set.

  • The river was nice just the full age.

  • Everything around it was made for a good scene.

  • It looks like the mobile suits are there in the scene.

  • And just especially as well, Why I like this one is just the custom work on his kids, huh?

  • He did a lot of really nice custom work on the execute, not just the crash Zeta there, but just the young shiki.

  • It's got some really awesome custom work on that.

  • Just the painting on it is really interesting and cool.

  • This camouflage pattern iss a CZ well, very unique looking takes on the shocker.

  • He may actually be here.

  • It's got customized weapons and everything as well.

  • There's ladies in the eyes and in the chest, in the cockpit of the crash Zeta there in the river that are like flashing. 00:08:59.830 --> 00:09:2.550 So it was a really cool build, I think. 00:09:2.560 --> 00:09:3.590 Really nicely done. 00:09:3.600 --> 00:09:9.480 Just his modeling work is very good on Made for a nice little cool, Dire Emma. 00:09:9.490 --> 00:09:10.120 They're interesting.

  • Dama.

  • Sort of.

  • You can imagine the story of what's going on there between the two of them.

  • So congratulations to those guys.

  • And again, Thank you, too.

  • So, congratulations to three of you guys.

  • And again, thank you to those who All of you who didn't finish your Dharma as well.

  • There was some pretty fun one.

  • And they're also so no, uh, let's get into the advanced category winners now for the mascara category, there was some really cool ones.

  • So I do want to show you a few runners up first before we get to the winners.

  • So here, have a look at a view of these runners up that were some of the finalists in our choices for the winners, all right, And then, once again, the guest judge for the advanced category.

  • It was a good friend and co host over on Gumpel talk.

  • Joshua Dera also the due to BC winner for Australia in the past.

  • A swell, so fantastic model. 00:10:57.430 --> 00:11:0.370 Or if you guys don't know who you can check out his Web site, of course. 00:11:0.380 --> 00:11:1.970 Josh madeira dot com. 00:11:2.240 --> 00:11:9.640 He helps me pick the winners here for the advanced category, and here they are in third place.

  • We have this build here from Ian.

  • It's a really nice looking How cheeky.

  • Obviously kind of the best part about this bill is all of the custom penalizing work that he did on this.

  • So he had a whole bunch of custom panel lining on this, uh, that end up coming out really nice.

  • And I really like the finish of the paint as well as gold, but it's not like super shiny s, so I'm not exactly sure how it's painted.

  • I would guess that it's gold than just with matte finish over the top of it.

  • is what it looks like, but that's all done really well.

  • Like I said so Customs scribe, everything on custom details.

  • He's added to it all looks good.

  • The color's nice, interesting, and kit overall came out looking really nice in the second place. 00:11:55.650 --> 00:12:2.230 Here is from Mustafa, who's using a shaky crash, I think was his base kit. 00:12:2.230 --> 00:12:8.540 But he used the parts of the rock she geek, I I think it was over the mass production type anyway. 00:12:8.540 --> 00:12:16.180 So he didn't use, didn't build it as she crashes, is what it looks like, what he's done with this here.

  • So this one, I thought it didn't have as much like customs driving things like that.

  • Like second place I bought this one had a lot of creativity in terms of the color scheme and the colors that you chose for.

  • I really appreciate it.

  • Just sell that level of creativity in this build is very unique.

  • Take on this design I haven't don't think as far as I can remember anyway, I've seen Elvis.

  • I've seen Happy Chic Year.

  • Any jinkies variants done in white, but with like the green accents like that is a really unique color choice and just the having up on the stand is nice.

  • It's got this custom base for as well, marking there.

  • And he's got just got a nice presentation for this. 00:12:58.180 --> 00:13:5.610 Just being set up on top of that clear rod and so overall ass fully finished and very nicely painted. 00:13:5.870 --> 00:13:6.680 Creative Bill. 00:13:6.680 --> 00:13:9.710 I thought it made for a really nice finished entries. 00:13:9.710 --> 00:13:11.790 So I really like that one Quite a bit.

  • Thank you, Mustafa.

  • And it's then our final grand prize winner here is going to be Mr Mister You Lem here with Hiss, Customized H g Delta.

  • Plus this.

  • It was probably the most creative and well executed build among the bunch.

  • So obviously he's gone for this kind of like a night theme.

  • With this, you can see there's heavy customization on there, and it's all done very well.

  • You can see the painting on.

  • It is also quite nice.

  • Just execution of the entire project.

  • All came out really nice, I think, and it came out looking very good.

  • So it's a creative idea that he pulled off really nicely. 00:13:58.560 --> 00:14:8.720 The cape parts on that are nice is from the, uh I recently did a review of those Kate parts from the mall Export goods stuff for free. 00:14:8.720 --> 00:14:9.300 Mom's Girls. 00:14:9.310 --> 00:14:9.540 That's it. 00:14:9.540 --> 00:14:14.500 I'm gonna think I was trying to say that, but yeah, really cool.

  • Take on this.

  • And the color's really nice as well.

  • That kind of brown and tan or light brown color scheme for that's also color scheme for this.

  • That dark red for the accents and for the cape looks really nice as well.

  • So it's a really cool entry on dhe.

  • Definitely.

  • I really like that one quite a bit.

  • So you consider you can still see.

  • There's still plenty of young shiki aspects in there, but of course, he's added.

  • Obviously, parts from the Barbato shoulders are probably the most recognizable.

  • But other things, and they're just other bits and pieces we can still see.

  • It's still very much shiki based, but he's done so much customization to it that it really does take on a new life.

  • It's a life of its own there and looking really nice.

  • So that is a wrap for the 100 k hockey contest.

  • Ah, lot of really cool entries. 00:14:59.950 --> 00:15:4.520 So again, just thank you to everyone who took the time to enter those you guys who couldn't finish your entries. 00:15:4.770 --> 00:15:7.930 Just thank you for making an attempt. 00:15:7.940 --> 00:15:9.230 That's also appreciated. 00:15:9.230 --> 00:15:12.670 Anyone who just was well meaning wanted to enter.

  • I appreciate that either way.

  • So, uh, that is it for this contest.

  • As far as going forward into the future, I don't have any more contests planned at the moment.

  • But I'm thinking maybe in February or March will be maybe the next building contest so that you guys know about that at the time.

  • I think it will be something again.

  • That's not necessarily gumpawa related, So I'll think about that.

  • In the meantime, I thank you, everyone.

  • Thank you.

  • Got in store for their support.

  • Thank you.

  • To the good friends who donated kids for prices as well.

  • Andi, just thank you all so much for watching.

  • I'll see you guys next time and just drive of the video.

  • I will give you guys a look at all of the entries. 00:15:58.700 --> 00:16:2.270 Starting with the beginner than the diorama and the advance category. 00:16:2.270 --> 00:16:4.170 All the interest in montage. 00:16:4.330 --> 00:16:6.140 You guys can see through all of those. 00:16:6.180 --> 00:16:8.950 And let me know your thoughts below, as I'm sure you will. 00:16:9.190 --> 00:16:9.790 Thanks, guys.

  • Yeah, Okay.

Just a reminder.
