Now tell me about this big bushfire relief concert that you're headlining on Friday.

I am so excited to come to all show.

Yeah, it's been a little bit since I got to go to kind of like a second home for me on I'm playing in Melbourne, which I'm really excited about because I've spent a lot of time there and have a lot of friends that get to come to the show and be a part of this night, which is hopefully gonna make a big difference.

And I think I even get to go visit some of the animals when I land.

I get in a day or so before the show so I could go and actually see where the funds from this benefit concert actually gonna go.

So I look forward to that.

Now I know that you've experienced firsthand the devastation of Bush fires when you lost your home in Malibu a few years back.

What helped get you through that time and then the months of recovery and rebuilding afterwards, something that really helped me after we lost our place in the fire was I was I was fortunate enough to be able to have all the animals rescued, so I know that not everyone in Oz was as lucky.

But the things that you know, you missed the most or some of the little things, you know, like special memories and pictures.

And I lost all the songs that I had written.

But I realized from talking to an artist that I really respect brainwash.

I had kind of been complaining about everything that I lost, and he just looked at me and said, You'll make more And then that helped me so much because, um, that wasn't just about the music or about some of the art that I had created that I lost.

But it was about the memories that were in those photos and the memories that lived in our house as well.

We know you love Australia.

You're gonna come down for a full tour anytime soon.

I would love that.

That was kind of, you know, part of the idea that, you know, of course, because of my personal connection with loss and in fires, I just felt like this was not something I could do from the States.

This isn't something I could do from home.

This is something that required me to physically go and connect with they all showing people that I've always just been so welcoming to me, especially the guys.

Now, I wanted to ask you about your dad because I ran into him the other day in L.

A at the Grammys rehearsals.

How proud of daughter were you watching him up on stage with that epic performance of Old Town Road?

You know, my dad, he has always just like he.

He's the reason why I do what I do and we have never.

Our house is never silent like we're always my dad's always got the guitar in his hand and encouraging us to come out to his studio and sing along with him.

And so any time I get to see my dad, like on stage or outside of the way that I know him, it's always just a little weird because, like, people come up to me, just tell me my dad is like a legend.

He's the man.

But to me he's like the dad that, just like every dad like loves to embarrass me or call me crazy nicknames like really loud when a bunch of cool people are around, eh?

So he's just like, you know, he just my dad.

But I'm just really stoked for him because I don't really know another person on this planet that loves music as much as he does.
