Disney's Hollywood Studios theme park at Walt Disney World is definitely going through some major changes Right now, there's a lot of construction happening, but in the minds of many people, it's considered to be that Disney Park with all the Star Wars stuff.

And really, when you look at it, they aren't wrong.

The major ongoing project right now is Star Wars.

Galaxies Edge Construction is well underway on this new 14 acre land, and it's gonna be pretty impressive now.

This land isn't opening until late 2019 but in the meantime, the park has many other exciting Star Wars attractions to keep you busy, including a brand new Star Wars parade.

So today we're going to be counting down the top five Star Wars experiences at Disney's Hollywood Studios.

Number five, the Star Wars Parade.

So Disney's Hollywood Studios has been without a parade since 2013 but that all just changed very suddenly, Without any major announcements, Disney finally debuted a brand new parade theme to Hollywood and the popular Star Wars franchise.

Take a look, April fools.

Now, in all seriousness, maybe this isn't an official parade by any means, but it's probably gonna be the closest thing to a parade will ever see until Star Wars Galaxies Edge opens in 2019.

And even then, who knows if they'll actually bring a parade back to the park?

So if you're wondering what you just saw, those are actually the mobile stages that air, usually in front of the Chinese Theatre.

They're used for the Star Wars, a galaxy far, far away state show on April 3rd 2016.

The show originally opened with a more temporary slash permanent stage.

It was definitely more temporary than that.

Sorcerer is high.

Yeah, that at was originally built for the 100 years of Magic celebration in 2001 and was only supposed to be up until 2003 but then stayed in extra 12 years until 2015 blocking the Chinese theater every single day anyway.

The problem with the temporary stage was that it also blocked the Chinese theater.

Since the park began using projection mapping on the theatre for their nighttime shows, they needed a different option because, as you can see, the screen posts on the stage structures did cause some obstruction.

So in October of 2017 Disney debuted the mobile stages at the park.

When the park opens, the stages are brought into the hub from the backstage area besides Star tours.

Then, after the last performance of a galaxy far, far away, they moved the mobile stages backstage to prepare for the nighttime entertainment.

Now, once you experience the Star Wars mobile stage parade for yourself, it brings back all those memories of when the park had a real parade, especially since it travels along the exact same parade route.

People are stopped along the side of the walk away, watching the quote unquote floats passed by, and cast members follow behind the last float, carrying a rope with a crowd of people following behind them.

That's exactly what happens during any Disney parade.

So if you're missing that parade atmosphere at Hollywood studios, definitely keep an eye out for the Star Wars Mobile Stage Parade and P S.

That's not what Disney calls this.

They just call it.

Let's move.

The stage is backstage now.

The Star Wars characters have appeared in past parades like the Disney Stars and Motorcars Parade.

Also, until Star Wars weekends were discontinued in 2015.

The park also usedto have a full Star Wars parade.

So Disney does have a history between their parades and Star Wars.

I mean, all we really need to do is have the stormtroopers lead The march of the first order in front of the stage is throw.

See Threepio on the front float and bam!

That's a real Star Wars parade right there.

Number four.

Galaxy's edge Now, in terms of other ways to get your Star Wars fixed at the park, there's definitely a lot of options.

If you want a little sneak peek of Star Wars, Galaxies edge.

Just enter the park through Studio Drive and you'll actually get a really good view of the construction.

You see just how big those mountains are gonna be and get a really good idea of the scale of the show buildings.

The entrance into the land off Grand Avenue gives you a really good idea of what kind of immersive use you'll have from inside this new land.

Also in the Walt Disney Presents Walk their exhibit in Animation Courtyard.

There's a small piece of the model on display, which appears to be one of the major restaurants in the new land.

To give you more of a look into Galaxies, Edge will quickly head to Disneyland.

We're in Star Wars Launch Bay.

There's another piece of the model on display.

The details of this land are going to be insane, and it's probably gonna be the most immersive land Disney has ever built.

Number three Star Tours.

Another way to satisfy that Star Wars craving at the park is Star Tours.

The Q features the See Threepio and R two d two animatronics.

And although the ride's been around since 1989 they have been continuously updating it.

In late 2017 they added a little segment to the ride.

To tease the new land, Disney announced that the planet you'll be traveling to in Galaxy's edge would be called back to, and when you take a ride on star tours you'll be able to see exactly what the land will look like red.

At the end of your tour, you land in Batu right in front of what appears to be that major restaurant.

That's part of the model on display at the park.

You think this is just thieve video sort of hard to make out here, since the attractions video is three D.

But while you physically ride, you get a great look inside this new immersive land number two character experiences.

The park is full of many opportunities to catch a glimpse of your favorite Star Wars characters through multiple stage shows and meet and greet experiences.

As you saw earlier.

The galaxy Far, Far Away State Show in the Hub gives you an opportunity to see AH, lot of characters, including Ray R.

Two D two, Chewbacca, Darth Maul, Boba Fett and BB eight.

Another place to find Star Wars characters is at the Jedi Training Academy.

The show's meant for young Patil wants to participate in.

But watching the show is pretty entertaining, Seeing as how these younglings could be pretty spontaneous, you'll also get a chance to see Darth Vader and Kylo Ren in action.

Now, if you want the chance to see more Star Wars characters one on one, then head into animation courtyard.

You'll most likely get a chance to see some stormtroopers roaming around.

But just be aware that they don't stop to pose for photos.

You can take photos with them, but they won't stop.

I'm keeping my eye on you.

It happens multiple times per day in front of the stage in the Hub.

Then, after that, you can head into Star Wars Launch Bay, where there's meet and greets with Kylo Ren B V eight and Chewbacca number one.

Ah Galactic Spectacular.

The clothes off your Star Wars experience at Hollywood studios.

Make sure you check out the projection and fireworks show Star Wars, a galactic spectacular.

They schedule this 14 minutes show with a 20 minute gap between the end of Fantasmic and the start of the fireworks.

So you're able to watch both, seeing the many iconic moments from the films projected on to the Theatre with the mix of classic Disney fireworks is the perfect way to end your day at Disney's Hollywood Studios.
