And so that's kind of where the idea of this benefit concert kind of came about.

Proceeds from Miley's concert will go to charities working to restore forest, wildlife and communities affected by recent events.

Superstar knows firsthand the effects of a fire.

I lost my home in Malibu AA couple of years ago, and we were really lucky that we were able to get our animals out safely, and there were a lot of them and not everyone was as fortunate.
