Subtitles section Play video Print subtitles Hey, guys. This is my 2006 Dodge Magnum. Built it about three years ago, and time to build another one. It's nice. I think you've got probably one of the coolest Dodge Magnums I've ever seen. Everywhere you drive it, people just stare at you. I think they're scared. JEFF: Yeah. I bought the Dodge Magnum in 2006. I love driving old cars, but I hate the way they run, so I decided to buy a new car. Let's make it look old, physically and mechanically be a brand new car. I'd really like to get $30,000. I don't think they're going to pay that. But, you know, you got to try. So tell me all about this car, man. JEFF: I wanted to make it just like a battleship. And so when me drew out the paint job, I just wanted lines and rivets, and then we did that, all airbrushed. You know, this Dodge came from when Dodge, Chrysler was trying to bring back that V8, cool, muscle car. And they really did it with the car. When these cars first came out, I almost bought one. Let's just get down to it real quick. Give me an idea of what you spent on the paint, man. It wasn't too bad. It ran me about $6,000 total. What else have you done to it? JEFF: We suicided the doors, so all four doors open up backwards. You open them up going down the highway, break your arm off, and it'd take you right out of the car if you don't have your seat belt on. So, how many miles does it have on it? Right now, it's got 103. 103,000 miles. Yes, sir. OK. So how much do you want to sell it for? Maybe if I can get 35? Thousand? JEFF: Yeah. This guy definitely gets points for originality. I mean, I've never seen anything like it. It could be worth what he's asking, but who knows? I mean, once you customize the crap out of something like this, that thing could be worthless. You know, man, I'm not trying to hit you over the head here but the car blue books for around $16,000 with 100,000 miles on it. Right now I'm seeing an '06 Dodge Magnum that I'm going to have to paint, put some new wheels on. There you go. JEFF: I know it's a unique car, and it's hard to sell. But you know, the right person may love it. You want to sell me the car, man, I'll buy it off you for six grand. JEFF: Can't do that. You know, I think I want to pawn it. A pawn is a loan with your stuff as collateral. If you don't pay back the money with interest, it's ours. On something that's this customized, my offer is going to be really low because I don't want to get stuck with it. You want to pawn it, I'll pawn it for $3,000. JEFF: OK. That's a deal. Deal. Thank you. We weren't able to make a deal, but [bleep] it. I'll go to the casino night with the money and see if I can make some money.
