English uses escort E s endings in four different ways.

Number one plural announce, such as boots, trees or watches.

Number two verbs such as collapse, swims or finishes.

These s endings have one of three possible sounds.

E D is added to an infinitive verb to make a regular past or past participle.

Verbs like adding S e D can have one of three possible sounds.
