Washington was not a particularly good military leader.
He made mistakes, but he always learned from his mistakes.
When Washington took command in Massachusetts, he was not too sure about New Englanders.
They were tremendous mix of all kinds of people farmers, City, people, immigrants.
These Americans were all in many ways in experience.
The one thing Washington didn't understand how hard these people could work.
New Englanders were fighting on their own land for their own way of life.
