Subtitles section Play video Print subtitles Good morning, guys. From Kagoshima Prefecture, we just left Kagoshima City and we are headed to a brewski own seven, which is the sand own sign where they bury you in the sand. I'm very excited because I saw this on YouTube probably about a year ago, and I've always want to do it. I'm a little worried. I don't know what it's gonna be like. Are you naked in the said? Do you wear something? How love you in there for? I don't know what to expect, but we're going for a one hour road trip. So if you guys enjoy the video Thanks, I'm wearing a tank top. It's mid November and I'm wearing a tank top. The one beautiful. Yesterday it was really cooled. But down here in our heart of Kagoshima, probably like 20 degrees or something. Well, maybe not that hot. Maybe like 18. So it's 1080 yen for an adult for the sand bath, and they also have hot springs for 610 yen. So it's called soon a mushi. I didn't know that. That means steaming in the sand, sand steaming. We've come up to the rooftop and you can see the sand baths under the cover. There are all the different individual spots. So what's gonna happen is we'll give me a yukata and I'll wear the yukata with nothing else on. And I think you wear the yukata while you're in the sand. That's interesting. I didn't realize that's how it worked. We're surrounded by volcanoes. What it does is it creates the special kind of sand. We've brought volcanic sand, so that's what makes it so nice for your body. Apparently, it's got a high sodium Great. It's good for digestion and all that kind of stuff, so it should be pretty nice. We're only gonna stay in there for about 10 minutes because apparently it's very hot and you could scald your body. According to the informational pamphlet, If you stay in longer than that, just looking down at the beach. Now there's steam coming off of the beach. The water from the ocean is coming in, and then it's creating steam, Which means sand must be really hot. I'm kind of worried. How hot is this? Could be a king. Oh, yeah, Cool. I'm also joined by Chris and John today, so make sure you go check out Liberty. This is well to see what they thought of this experience. But we're gonna go get in the sand bath now. You caught the on there were some flip flops to put on, and I'm heading down to the same thing about the guy. Should be down there waiting for me. So it's both female and male. It's a quid sandbox. Since you're not naked, you're wearing a yukata. So all three of us can hopefully get a spot next to each other. There they are. Maybe. Yeah, Old British, Denmark e really pretty lock. You know, I really like it. It's a lot cooler than I was expecting. Temperature is a spot. There were warnings about scalding your body, but I guess it would be a low temperature burn because it feels like, you know, really comfortable, warm, Strange. I feel my heart. I'm on my feet. My Peter, Like from who? Who already sweating. Oh, it's starting to warm up now. My body. Okay, ready? That's amazing. I feel so light. Oh, well, I feel like I just lost £100. It really is relaxing. I feel great. I wish we could see them longer, to be honest. But since there is a warning against staying in over 10 minutes, we decided to get out. Oh, my God. Look at the dents or the said. No way. Put my towel in a bag for me. That was so sweet When we're in the buff. I had my towel just lying on the side here with my sandals and they put it in a little bag for me so it doesn't get dirty. Everyone is so nice here. We're gonna head to the inside now. Water own said they also have a sauna. So we're gonna chill in there for a bit. You guys won't see us because you can't film in there. We will be very naked. And who will see you guys afterwards? Three close, close. Okay. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Hey, that was great. He owns Son was super relaxing. Started to get really hot in there, though, so? Well, that's really great. We're heading to our next location now, which is where we going, Chris, Lunch. We were driving through and we saw some really cool peaks in the background. Just really neat looking islands. The landscape here is so different from anything else we've seen on this trip and we've been all the way through Japan. It's really cool to see how the landscape changes as we move through the prefecture is Oh, shit, no, No room window skills. We would've found club over their job. These boys were impressed with Chris's drone skill skills. They want to convene. Nice to meet you, Cornel Dog having window that morning. You get miss, you can go look up. So I I need you. My I need you. All right? We're off to Nishi Oyama Station to catch the sunset. We still got some time. The sun's pretty high. All the people in Kyushu, like the entire island. Everybody has been so kind and so excited to talk to us. And like Oscar's why we're down here and, uh yeah, locals. It is really great here. I'm really enjoying meeting so many people and learning about the area through them. It's been really cool. We're getting station is, like, just over there. Oh, so you're taking a little left? Turn off somewhere? Imagine going for runs down here. It looks beautiful. Nishi Oyama Station. We made it. How cool is that volcano? When you picture a volcano in your mind, does it not look like this? This is volcano perfection. That's gorgeous, though. Holy smokes! Uh oh. There's a great thank you so much. I love it. Woo! Alright, guys, that's it for today's value. Hope you enjoyed chilling with us here in Kagoshima. What a cool area of Japan! I feel so lucky that I have the chance to come down here. So thank you so much to Chris for inviting me on his trip. And for Tokyo Creative for allowing me to join the journey. We had a great day. I hope you guys enjoyed the vlog and I will see you again soon for more behind the scenes footage of the journey across Japan. Bye, guys.
