just go ahead you're ready
sorry I wasn't listening it's been that mailing on my bad phone
yet can you just do the line please i'd everyone what the flick everybody's here
which is a always a good sign the
then that Alonso Christie couple movies this week we begin with the lego movie
which I didn't see and
which apparently I made a huge mistake Damascus there'll be no opportunity to
make that yeah
because I have to trade more about yesterday though it's really
getting buried out so when it is not a kids movie but
Phil the lego movie great movie what a great movie
ever made in the history of cinema you decide
but they were we fall on this album so Chris Pratt as the boy
a.m. EDT this construction worker drone Lego
in a little brick town area he always follows the role
as expected him and then one day comes across a little bitty pieces red plastic
it changes everything 11 TB the
special and fulfil a property that will change everyone's lives take a look
who are you here to see the I'm here to see europe-wide

Spurs true I love this movie so much
couldn't have more fun the Nicholas that this movie
I it so fast and it's still funny
it just click beautifully so many great jokes
on its at profound eventually but mostly profound the way that I did not expect
yell I was watching The Daily Show last night or earlier in the week and
Elizabeth Banks
was on and she said it right that we have wild style right
and at Ascot check and Jon Stewart joked that he'd love it so much it's hit three
times and I was like wow because I knew you'd
liked it we'd spoken and I at how well people like it but it turned out he was
getting abortions at three to get here all
on because he's a grown-up like until he didn't
you know he didn't care and so that that so my question actually
diapers you the beating was legitimate like I thought ok it maybe it's a really
good kids movie but is it
it's more it's more than just lower so like the Toy Story movies
which could be seen as purely kids movies there's a lot there for adults
and there's a lot here now not
necessarily the way toward story goes but there's
you know if there's a lot of fun gags throughout the movie a lot of references
to it you know they make
they have fun with batman & by a lot of the other character he may bring in
any character practically that ever shown up as Lego so you get
character from Harry Potter and you get ninja turtles and you
I mean you get everybody already writer in spray 2002 NBA all-star Shaquille o
Neal
yeah
you get going by himself yeah it's great cameos from
you know a certain have a lot of people to talk about this is kinda the first
only without the Justice League and
I had it so it's a lot of fun but then the movie takes a turn
and gets shockingly emotional
in a way that I think caught Christine I completely off guard
now this is brought to us by the directors who did 21 Jump Street and I
bring that up because
those guys are in 21 Jump Street do a movie that is
you know cialis goofball remake of an old 80's property and then
it also kinda server so he tells the story about two guys
struggling to maintain a friendship too high school or not school environment
endorsing networking events deeper than you think and that's what this movie
does
in what christine i think is a very effective way up it out there
I cried in the lead a movie yeah I will admit that I cried in Accra
I don't cry amber I got to get a lot is being a parent
a lot of it is that you know I can I was a bit
nipping your problem where but you cannot talk about yeah
there there's a big turn in this movie problem with you
parentless but exactly yeah
well you know we have so that's another story entirely yeah I know not a lot and
now I don't come for a catholic
giant Bruederle this movie takes
a big daring turn in act 3
I it didn't work for me that was the big head
it and I don't have children I'm me I'm could sign so less than a cold inside
are I felt like it took everything that the movie was already telling us that
even
young children paying the tiniest bit of attention worried getting
from the story and then felt like they had to stop
and explaining the that they'd like with like subject was it up now it's gotta be
taxed now we have to like I put me on an underlined it and or arrows to it and
it's like no no no no I got that already shot up movie you know you were
all i'm up until this point usually that I usually hate being told what to feel
too
i do. but this is the whole other I level up stuff going on
I think ultimately if this room is any indication
how you feel about the logo we will will hinge on how you feel about the stern
that we're not talking about
I in-n-out burger and and up until that point I did not like it as much as you
guys did I thought there were some very funny stuff and then some other sort of
like a dead spot than
you know I thought it was fine I was having a good time was better than any
kinda
product movie I would have ever expected be Rs he totally
I as far as toy don't go I like the notion I love like
let's dump all the toys on the carpet and play with them at the same time you
know that all the sort of
universe is that we think I was being separate and discreet in pop culture
we're just all mushed together and that was fun and it definitely
made the most a bad idea um but it's there it's the
it's the turn that lost me so agreement if you don't go with him on that turn
your lost
I Christine I went with them I think a lot of people are but
he it is it is a daring me when I think that
you know they do run the very real risk and losing some people because it
it pivots I don't think that that turn is telling the same story
and working on the same themes that it has previously I understand
your interpretation that I don't agree with that I think it's a separate thing
along the lines I love you when we talk about this before the show
the beginning in the first 10 minutes up right health
a story that ultimately is Kurt mostly separate from the rest to that and I
think that
that I Christine I'm both seem to be on the same page here
the short bit that you get towards the end that film is kinda its own story
and all the impact and Deputy Prime yeah I didn't want anything prior but for me
it felt like
I i feel like everything I had gotten I did everything within that bit I had
gotten from the movie already
if you put it in the dialogue if you're paying attention to what
things are being said its all there but in the port with
though I was lucky Mike Babcock but I have to go feed it again
because it is so rapid fire you're allowing so much it kinda like
the great simpson the details were they give you like a schedule or a list or
something where you gotta stop composite cuz ur so mean looking too worried
you cannot be this one time and I don't like the look of this universe where
everything is plastic like going to get shot at this is like the rosa both and
when planes land our tickets more plastic wrap
what intention on talking about like the way that looks like it was made with
stop-motion animation which is not
right now with your personal yeah are stepping in to break a system that works
like that we've seen some of the
Lego animation stuff that happened like the Clone Wars
Lego stuff that happened on TV at like that clutch powers video that the kids
see
in the vicinity this is a different style of animation in that
the the movement of the Legos is more true to the way they would be in real
life as opposed to
you know for for the elevation freaks out there okay so for those people
really
Larson legos more true to what how they would move in rio yeah it's like a
little over the job with their life definitely have kept you think they want
to play okay
because in some other animation made up previously like they can movement banned
in this when they can't do that I hope the physics are respected so
I mean I i'm not saying don't go see the movie I i havent I have no imagery
yeah I had enough good haha I had a good nap time and there's another
you're right there are enough joking here be so much better if you actually
show
yeah
right there are enough jokes that are entertaining at the word that people
should see it but just
beer gird yourself for this thing that's going to happen that might might or
might not work real boy
catchy we should mention Morgan Freeman plays the sort of mystic character and
he's making fun of every god-like character ever played with what
well our net is essentially job Batman he doesn't tell them everything with
slight variations
for the brand is great he's great hit with a bang have great chemistry at me I
don't know whether they actually have with it on the same place our place I
believe it will lead to a domestic
welfare was very nice km house upset where members Press
the I mean I guess is obvious that but he's great but you have a
long and successful and tens of million dollar career
like yeah but I I like it like that Chris Pratt better than but Chris Pratt
but
you know whatever no one cares either time yes because you don't have kids
yeah stuff for although I'd so christie's tell them your number when
that at ten
I'm going big here for another year matter
gonna do it at that yeah to tens
and I'm giving it a seven which somehow it makes me the Jake here
so I'm dragging us down two and now my you know my job
it said 98 percent ninety percent of its mami 1 percent there's not like this
movie on Rotten Tomatoes
well me and it is okay to not like the memory
let me know I it's okay to hate it like a lot yeah
that is very clear whatever her go see it I wouldn't
