And I think anybody who grew up in the fifties will remember when they first heard it or how they first heard it. I first heard it on a, uh on a black radio station, one of the only ones that was in the industrial town near mine. And somebody told me about it. I remember her name. I remember the circumstances. I remember everything. And when I turned it on, I couldn't believe it because it was something I'd never heard before. And so it was very striking. Other kids Ah, other kids went, actually went into the into the black section of town and bought race what were called race records or rhythm and blues records and things like that. And so we had to sneak in a sense to you hear that music for the first time. And it was born with that, and it always had it. It always had that sense to it that this was something that you, uh, that you really couldn't do it. It was like, uh, it was like, ah, reading comic books.
