Now, at first glance, this Bulgarian lock looks like many other similar products, but there are a couple of noteworthy aspects to it, both good and bad.

The band is the fit and finish.

The edges of this lock are so sharp that they feel like they will cut you if you're not careful.

But there are some nice features as well.

First, we have these hardened steel bars that are pressed into the lock body.

They help resist sawing attacks from the side and the bottom.

Next, we have a non by passable, ball bearing locking mechanism.

This stands in stark contrast to the master lock and APIs versions of this product, both of which can be easily bypassed.

Finally, we have a six pin dimple core, and here, with what I believe are tapered driver pins, which means will likely have to pick each pin several times.

So let's see what it takes to pick this open.

I'm going to be using a Z bar for tension.

Let's get that in there and one of my new multi pick dimple packs.

Okay, I'm gonna use nice and stout tension because that's what tapered driver pens tend to like.

So overall, not too bad a pick and not bad for a low security all weather padlock.
