Subtitles section Play video Print subtitles This is the lock picking lawyer, and what I have for you today is one of the strangest concepts and car locks that I've seen in a while. It's a device that locks onto the valve stem of your car's tire and releases air if the car is driven faster than about 17 miles an hour. The thought is that a thief is likely to abandon a car rather than driving with or attempting to fix a flat tire. It works like this. First, you take one of these two adapters and tighten it onto the valve stem with the included Allen wrench. We can then take the device locket over the adaptor on. That's all there is to it. While this really is an interesting concept, I can't say I'm impressed with the execution. The reason is that this device is secured by a wafer lock in that wafer lock is comically easy to rake open. Let me show you just how bad it is. We're going to use this wiper insert and this wave rake, and just that quickly, we got it open. Let's lock it on one more time and check to make sure that was not a fluke, Justus. Quickly, it is open again. So as you saw, this could be opened in just a few moments with a low skill raking attack. Thus, while it certainly is an interesting concept, it's also something that can be defeated rapidly by a novice. In any case, that's all I have for you today. If you do have any questions or comments about this, please put them below. If you like this video and would like to see more like it, please subscribe. And, as always, have a nice day. Thank you.
